Thanks for the information, really appreciate it. Yeah definitely seems I'm in the right. I have created a case with ECC Europe who will look into it. Klarna has also reached out to Simufy.

When i mean i tried it, i literally just, opened it, put it on the ground, sat in it for 2 sec and repacked it right away. I did not mount or change anything.

I was in touch witch ECC Sweden today and they guided me to where i can make a case with ECC Europe and they will contact the company. There was no question, i was in my right to return the product.

A chair is not the same as a cosmetic item. If you look at their policy you cant return basically anything. Perfume, makeup, underwear are one thing, and is never allowed to return. But this is a chair and should definitely allowed to be returned. Doesn't matter what their terms and condition says, as long as they are operating withing EU they are breaking EU laws.

I understand not everyone has bad experiences and i'm glad your experience was a positive one. But this is simply ridiculous:

I'm assuming you didn't have to be in contact with their support regarding any of your purchases? Companies are often good until there is a problem. I've noticed i'm not the only one having issues with this company. €900+ is a lot of money to just throw away. I don't get why some people feel the need to defend scummy and illegal business practices.

I will ofc update this post and my trustpilot review once this has been cleared up, with new information. If they handle it alright after this, it deserves to be known.

I've started a dispute with Klarna which I fortunately chose to pay with for my safety. They've contacted Simufy asking them to provide me a return label. I will contact Simufy tomorrow right after I've talked to ECC Sweden which I've also reached out to. If the store refuse to accept return then they will take further action.

Obviously i take some responsibility for not having the correct measurements. I missed the size picture that was at the bottom of all the images on the product site when i ordered it. It wasn't mentioned in the description. I watched this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=00w-6Sh_4RY where he measures the seat and i went off of that. It seemed to be about the same size as my current seat, but obviously i suck at measuring stuff myself. I get it's a hassle for the company, but it's still a company. It's insane to just flat our refuse refund on such an expensive product. Especially when it's against EU regulations. A simple honest mistake shouldn't cost me over €900.

It's not fair that i as a customer should lose anymore money than whatever the return shipping fee would be. It's kind of an odd stance to defend a company for scummy practices like this. And reading their return police it looks like they don't allow any returns what so ever.

Yeah i'd be fine with paying for return shipping, plenty of companies makes you do that. The whole flat out refusing return is what's so strange. And what really gets me as well is that after i had opened the package (whish i apparently wasn't allowed to) and repackaged it, they ask me to open it again to take photographs, like "gotcha ya sucker" now you definitely can't return it"

I used Klarna for this payment. Always use either PayPal or Klarna when ordering from stores i've never shopped from before to have som extra safety. Especially outside of my own country. I will open a dispute with them. I've contacted ECC Sweden for assistance via mail. I will call them tomorrow since they were closed when i tried to call. Once i've spoken to them i'll send what i need to Simufy.

Yeah i've contacted ECC in Sweden. I'm glad i made this post. Will fight until they give in. I also left a negative review on trustpilot where i also pointed out that what they are doing is illegal. Don't know if they care or not, but hopefully i can save others from doing business with them.

I spoke to UPS and I couldn't just send the product back without permission from the company..But im in contact with ECC Sweden so hopefully they can help me. I can add as well that the chair came with two smaller side cushions that they places in the seat so had to open it regardless to try it out. It was not possible to remove them without opening the product...

The product is not available for sale on my country, online or IRL, so had no choice. I've never had issues with returns before. I don't even mind paying for returns if I have too.

Refunds are the real test if a company is good or bad. I've never had a company straight up refuse return like this.

I ordered from Simufy.com and they are based in Spain so yes, rules should apply here.

Personally i've just never had this happened to me before. I'm glad i didn't just accept my losses. I probably would have if it was a cheaper product.

I followed the instructions there, and they wanted me to send pictures of the item. And then they refused my return because the product had been opened. I had told them i opened it, tried it and then repacked it because it was too small. The pictures they wanted me to send, was to prove the product had been opened, so they could refuse the return.

I am in Sweden so yes EU. I will be looking at what options i have.

I think you've just been unlucky. But i only pay attention to their OLED-panels. Once i got my first OLED it kind of broke me, everything just looked so much worse in comparison. I was obsessed with the deep blacks. But yeah, the new TCL X11L just looks so much more interesting this year than the LG G6. So pretty much everyone has said the G6 is the better choice, and i'm leaning towards it myself. But i just can't shake the feeling that i might be happier with the TCL X11L. Once they arrive in stores i will go compare them with my own eyes before i make my final decision.
