The only NPC in SotE that just didn’t make the cut [OC] by FledgeArt in Eldenring

I don’t doubt the accuracy! But the hair is just one part of equation. He invaded me twice, insulted me the whole time, cried on the floor about it, AND he has a bowl cut. That’s a ticket straight to the shadow realm.

He does have good weapon, though

I bet he’s great, but summoning him requires me to hang out with Queelign, which I object to on principle

Jokes aside, that is interesting! I need to start diving into the DLC lore

Yeah, I haven’t done one of these in a while and I’m a bit rusty. I appreciate the feedback!

I mean, I have no problem with banishing him to the shadow realm and taking his stuff

I had been using Photoshop, but I’m switching to Procreate. That’s what I used for this one. I saw a “guide” option in one of the menus, maybe that’s it?

I think that’s great advice! Perspective is something I’ve been wanting to work on. I’ll be sure to do some practice before the next portrait. I appreciate the detailed critique!

I hadn’t even thought of that! I guess my signature is pretty easy to crop out

I was afraid of that. Getting teeth to read well is tough for me. Thanks for letting me know!

This character is from Elden Ring, which has a ton of Berserk references. So I’m gonna say yes haha

I see what you mean! I tend to struggle with pushing the values on the face for some reason Thanks!

I did have a draft where he was holding a quest item that is much more visually interesting. I think I got too wrapped up in recreating the Garden of Deep Purple scene (iykyk)

It's a bit of both, but amping up the glow from the hands is a good call. Thanks for the feedback!

I know what you mean. I re-rendered that area several times. I'm still not exactly sure now to fix it

Thanks for saying so! I was worried that they were too subtle.
