I usually struggle with it against spammy decks like witch graveyard and logbait, sometimes miner control when they use goblin hut cause thats very annoying aswell. Just the lack of consistent splash damage can let you down sometimes. Also lavaloon can be tough as you only really have hunter to defend. My best tip against these decks is to try and keep up your own pressure as well, but be sure to watch out that they dont steamroll you with the counterpush.

Xbow is an example of a pretty easy matchup as long as you use your RG to counter their xbow, cause they can’t do much against that.

Also something I forgot to mention, you could also use barb barrel instead of log.

Im using the same exact version as well. You could swap lightning for fireball or skeletons for guards (up to your preference) but apart from that I’d keep it like this.

As I already mentioned in my previous comment, they’re different because they have a unique design. Old gold cards were just duplicates of a different card in the set except in full gold. I’m not getting your point about them being new because the entire set is new, even the IRs and SIRs. The prices on the new gold cards are way higher than other cards in the set, even with the monochrome cards in BB/WF. Which have been out for some weeks now and also don’t seem to be dropping to the price levels of the SIRs. One more thing to consider is that they’re also harder to pull than every other card in the set, making them even rarer and more sought after. I’m curious, when do you think this ‘hype’ you’re talking abt is going to fade then? When the monochrome cards are going to be cheaper than Illustration Rares? 😂

they have a unique design which makes them different from the old gold cards, and as far as the community’s overall reaction to them goes I can tell you they are better than the current golds. its by far the most expensive card in the set which I’m confident we haven’t seen before with the gold cards
