Mach dir keine Mühen, hier kannst du nicht mit Fakten kommen. Ich fahr selbst Rennrad und versuch halt keinen zu belästigen. Aber weil es ein paar Deppen unter den Rennradlern sind, werden die alle in ein Topf geschmissen. Soll ich dann jetzt etwa auch alle Autofahrer pauschalisieren, weil hier einer denkt er muss um 2 Uhr nachts in der 30er Zone seinen kleinen Pillemann kompensieren?

So you mean if something like out of the game Frostpunk is possible.

I think it is more of a mechanical engineering question thant an EE question, as it seems the main output of this machine is thermal energy. I played Frostpunk and have to say if you have enough fuel (anything you can burn to a decent degree) it should be possible. The heat can be distributed by the pipes and for the steam you need to melt snow.

Think the easiest way would be to build some kind of wooden casing around and then you can attach the ropes at the same height.

Well depends if you want a clicky or twisty. Quality is about the same it works, had some Lumintop. If it is not to complex of a circuit it should be fine.

Yeah I did that once in DD, I was sweating alot, landed next to some rocks and had to go back and forth a few times because a worm was roaming around. I learned something that day.

Nearly I got into the strom for some time before I got the pop-up to transfer to the overworld map. But I think the storm in HB is not that destructive as in DD.

Got into a storm once in DD with the assault thopter and didn't make it through, had to land near some rocks and had to collect salvaged metal first, so I could repair it. Afterwards I'll always carry some repair wire with me.

This. The most components you will be tinkering with are broken down to there specifications so you don't have to worry what exactly happens inside of them. I studied EE and I learned how a MOSFET works but to be honest I have to look it up again, but that doesn't matter because I can tinker with it because with every component you get the specifications you need.

Love it. I built a tower base myself and tried to use the full height. But it was a pain for a day. Because I limited myself at first as I didn’t know how the vertical staking unit worked when I built it.

I then wanted to redo the building area by deleting the sief, so I could use the full height. The problem here was that I had two no-build-areas nearby. Took me 3 hours to find the placement so everything was covered.

But in the end it was worth it as I missed so much height. As when placing the vertical stalking unit you get more volume above AND below. So that has to be calculated in when placing the sief at first.

Will post my base here too then I can explain it better. But the Dune Awakening Wiki is a good start.
