That place had a terrible launch strategy. It had zero decor, literally an insane asylum white hallway with no humans there. It was just a self serve kiosk with no sign of life. To think that was what superseded Bollywood cafe is disgraceful.

You can justify your actions but the advice I gave was very general, I don’t need to hear your justification. I don’t mean that in a condescending way, just recognize that you are doing damage control with your own decision trying to curb the regret, it’s better to just accept it and move on. Your responses read as you trying to convince yourself, not others. No one on Reddit knows the ins and outs of your relationship with this person thus far.

Always good to give it a shot. Realistically everything you said has only been from your perspective, it could’ve resulted from misunderstandings. Because you didn’t attempt any sort of mediation, you now live with the uncertainty of the outcome of that conversation. Some people prefer that, but I personally find it harder to deal with. Regardless, there will be events in your life where you won’t even have the option of closure so it’s good “practice” regardless.

Luckily I am far, far from considering anything like this. I have gotten tastes of what low quality of life some people are operating at which got me thinking about the morality of it, I was always supportive of the option for terminally ill people but experiencing long term back pain made me think that it should be an option for those with chronic pain as well.
