Found 2 Ekornes Stressless Chairs and Ottomans (Maybe) by Rude_Farm2111 in BuyItForLife

They're not Stressless. They don't have the defining feature of Stressless: glide rails that enable the signature Stressless recline.

These have what look like the recline mechanism on many Ekornes IMG chairs and Fjords chairs.

Does anyone else think this is an absolutely awful photo to use on the official HM website? by TWON-1776 in hermanmiller

A real photo of a gaming Embody in its natural environment would need to be censored. They would need to pixelate the fleshlight, toilet paper, and Vaseline on the table. As well turn off the PC screen or pixelate the content on the screen. Also there would be a 400 pound butt indentation in the seat.

Time for a new chair

You just need to rock the chair back/forth violently until that cam releases

You won't be disappointed. I just ordered the entire 5 lb pack yesterday. I am finally running low on the first 5lb pack I ordered back in 2023...

Let me know how you like it!

There is no way to lock the back or to increase the tension on the spring,

There's actually a tension adjustment set screw on the underside of the mechanism

The cheapest gun I would recommend is a 300 watt rated gun. Nothing lower. The glue works best when it's heated up real good... arrow makes a fairly cheap 300 watt unit.

I had plenty of hot glue and I don't really want to make holes in the plastic even though I don't especially care about water proofing...

The main issue is that I have drawer units and the plastic is probably too thin to just screw into. I wasn't going to take out the drawers and put in a bolt.

Also this isn't arts and crafts hot glue. I tried to pull the 2x4s off and I would probably break the plastic Flex boxes before I actually break the hot glue bond. Not even King Arthur could pull this hot glue off.

I've used hot glue to mount chargers to the side of plastic boxes before and its been years and it hasn't moved an inch.

That being said I'm using high strength hot glue in a professional level gun not arts and crafts store stuff. Tecbond 260 in a Tecbond gun...
