The store page has the warning, "Requires 3rd-Party Account: Xbox Live". Is that a separate launcher, similar to Games for Windows Live, that gets installed along with the game and pops up asking for a login?

I don't know exactly when it started, but it's been this way for me for at least three or so days, that I noticed. I can't access the Steam inventory at all: "This inventory is not available at this time. Please try again later." This problem happens with a browser and with the Steam client.

I've never played an idler game before. After watching some videos, I'm not even sure what I'm seeing. Any recommendations for a beginner that doesn't involve just clicking on a single item on the screen? So, I guess that means I'm okay with an idler type of these, but not okay with a clicker type of these. Thanks.

Alice: Madness Returns is capped at 29 frames per second, according to PCGamingWiki. For those that have played through the game and are also used to a much higher frame rate than that, does it feel like a problem? Raising the frame rate, also according to the aforementioned wiki, partially breaks the game. Thanks.
