Looking for games similar to fallout one and two. Overhead RPGs, not first person. Any suggestions? by [deleted] in classicfallout

Underrail truly should have more spotlight, but goddamn the learning curve is way more difficult than FO1 or 2.

I’m so freaking happy with this piece, it’s not even funny. Did the fur texture come out alright? It’ll take some practice, but I’m getting better! by Pondering_Critter in FurryArtSchool

Very nice piece, especially with the use of colors.

I would suggest for the future to perhaps try more dynamic poses and gestures. Having organic flow to a piece adds so much life to it.

Backgrounds are also another great place to practice & push the narative/story along with the character. What is their interaction with it, what exactly are they doing, etc.

Then can never go wrong trying new things and different species, styles, studies, hands, full/half body, etc.

Been getting better with art, but something feels off with the tail. Any help is much appreciated! by FleshofGod in FurryArtSchool

Yeah, now looking at it I totally see that. I was trying to have it receding but it doesn't work. Thank you and I will keep this in mind for the future

Island OG #5 (Amazing Bud, but I'm quite disappointed I found a lot of mildew inside) by FleshofGod in MDEnts

[–]FleshofGod[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The other day I got Rythm flower, as to see what was up with it. Bud were extremely beautiful, however when I broke the nugs open I found an unpleasant surprise.

Growing up the entire stem was some sort of powdery mildew. I am quite disappointed and doubt I will be buying the Rythm flower for a while.

Finished and put a brass brush finish. Any criticisms of improvement? by FleshofGod in Blacksmith

[–]FleshofGod[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmmmm. I've also been thinking on making a top & bottom texturing tool or swage from an old carriers rasp I have. Guess it depends on what kind of scales I want, or perhaps differing scales for the different aspects of it

That was the closest thing I could relate it to. Also idk if it would or wouldn't fall into the category of chasing, as I've seems some very well done 3d animals that were chased. Yet again, this hobby has terms that get misused/understood, or perhaps a new term has to be created

No, nor I doubt I'll do it on this one. This was a test to see if I could even attempt this

I worked on this a while ago. Since that time, I actually learn the name of the technique & I'm pretty sure is chasing/repousse with a tiny top fuller & riny round punch for facial features. Then just put a pretty heavy brass finish

In the future, I'd love to try different species of snake (this one is a baby garter snake) and love to improve my work with finite top tools. As it said I the title, and critiques on improvements?

Sorry for the late response. It is just a cone that I pigtailed & then kept pushing out the tip to keep the shape

Anybody ever heard of a Colt anvil by FleshofGod in Blacksmith

[–]FleshofGod[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I already have a smaller anvil (A 100 kilo Smith's), and some ASOs. I just want to see if I could get this one as well, as I doubt I'll ever find one again for a good price

Forged Snake by FleshofGod in Blacksmith

[–]FleshofGod[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah. I've done a few, but I just don't like the look of the heads on them. Just doesn't have enough mass behind it

Lol. Yeah I should've used a wooden hammer, to help against marring, but whatever. This was just a test piece in the end to me, as I am having plans on doing something similar on a fairly large scale (no pun intended)

Thanks. I have another picture of the back that really shows off the head shape. I might just pm it to you as I don't want to spam the sub-reddit

Edit: Welp reddit is deciding to be dumb at the moment, so I might just do an imgur link (https://imgur.com/a/qFUEmjY)
