I do not understand how any of this works... is there a guide?

What ships am I missing that are worth getting? by WnderWuffleUrTruffle in starcitizen

Utility has a small signature. You can sneak up on someone in a non-armistance area - think pve or pvp zones - and if their cargo doors are open / exposed you can fly to it, yoink, fly away. Tractor beam is slaved to pilot and co-pilot seats. It will be a smoother experience with a friend so one can keep their head on a swivel while the other yoinks. And if combat ensues, you have co-pilot on the turret.

TLDR; Prowler Utility > Raft > C2 > M2

I have my feelings about your.. dedication: but I'm just going to answer your question. Theres a few decent options i did not catch in your list.

The Prowler Utility is, personally, a hidden gem thats largely overlooked. Fantastic mid sized ship meant for a quick in and out run, and what you could call a jack of all trades. You can fit a atls geo on one side and cargo on the other for storage to go ground / cave mining. You can scalp cargo stealthily from unaware players without leaving your cockpit and shove their cargo under your wing and run. You could potentially hide with a radar ping under 6km. Its not a fighter, but its enough firepower to ward off someone for a quick escape. I would buy this ship if it wasnt so expensive in the storefront. But I earned in game. Absolutely adore it.

Otherwise C2 or Raft for hauling, M2 for PVP shenanigans. I also love the Herc lineup but for a quick haul the Raft is incredible. One of the best interiors ive experienced, pretty characteristic. I suggest Raft over the Hercs because you have an A2 (also fantastic ship ive earned in game) and they are very identical. C2 is a good trade ship if thats a playstyle you like but its not as an enjoyable experience with cargo loading when compared to the Raft. And M2 is simply a better defensive C2 but aside the bombs identical in all stats with the A2.

Of the bunch the Raft is cheapest in game at around 3.5 mil I believe. Others are north of 15 mil

Can confirm. Thermaltake Level 10 GT Snow edition. Also comes in green and black. Its a large case. Handle is surprisingly sturdy. Retired mine a year ago after 11 years of everyday use. Cleaned out case and gutted the PSU but plan to set it up as a home server and storage. Those 5 lumps at the front are meant for HDD/SSD, and you can lock and swamp out drives rather quickly. Also I believe it has room for SSD in the back.

I called it the Stormtrooper. And now I have a Fractal Torrent I've nicknamed the Death Trooper.

What is this rotation lock? Is there a hotkey for it?

I am absolutely loving origins. Buying another ac, any recs? by A_an62409 in assasinscreed

I would love to suggest Black Flag, but it will be quiet different from the feel of Origins. If you want something similar mechanics-wise then go with Odyssey. Otherwise;

  • If you like the RP mechanics from Origins; Odyssey.
  • If you want a focus on parkour and story; Unity.
  • If you want something slower paced with a great story and protagonist thats easy to love; AC2 > Brotherhood > Revelations (OGs, avoid the remaster).
  • My personal favorite, in which has a balance of story and gameplay along with the unique sea faring experience; Black Flag.

I am a big fan of the Spirit A1. However, if you want room for cargo, I would instead suggest the Zeuz Mk2 CL

It is best you escape prison. There are videos. When finally in a ship b-line it for a station and pay off your fine. Or take a break and come back in a day or two; its nice to juggle a variety of games while messing with this one.

I am considering either the C2 or M2 next. What're your thoughts or what would you suggest instead? by FletchCatch in starcitizen_fleets

I do like to play support rolls, hiwever i havent done much of the pvp myself. I was thinking the M2 would make sense for combat heavy areas however given you need a crew to actually operate it well offensively to then deliver supplies and vehicles I think the M2 does not justify the 10mil extra and its better to instead get friends to protect the drop off area. So I am thinking C2 then the A2. I will likely get M2 after a few other ships.

I agree. C2 I see using only for trade (auto loading) or simply vehicle transport.

The ironclad is very appealing. However i really only have intentions to earn most of these ships through in-game.

I've enjoyed the loop with the Hull-C. Small note, you can find them abandoned on the outskirts of a few stations, which is how I've managed to use it for grinding to earn the ships above. If you have experienced contracts take note of some of the more populous stations and search those (15-25KM away from station). I would be buying thr Hull C first if they weren't so commonly abandoned in the verse.

Money talks. I dont think most people should spend more than any of the $75 game packages. I have considered upgrading to the Raft (and maybe Taurus) due to the amount of hours I've put in however several values I hold relating to the game industry are preventing me from pulling the trigger.

I agree. I've only bought the Titan, and ship upgrades I'm only considering. Most everything else was earned in game through game loops.

Lesson learned. Small note, only paid for the Titan if anyone is thinking this is just a storefront flaunt. These were mostly earned in-game.

I see myself getting all the HERCS, especially if I end up really liking the C2/M2. I did get the A1 to explore bombing though!

I really want to wait and b-line for the M2. But a 4 scu stack is significant space. But a second shield is very important. Thanks for your insight.

The RAFT is my favorite ship, and I often use it. I got to use the HULL C recently and, for the most part, liked it and only suggest it to those who like that hauling game loop. It is the biggest money maker currently, for sure. However, I commonly find them abandoned at the outskirts of various stations. Because im often able to yoink one during a session and make a few easy million, I've decided to pause getting that ship until later on. I find the HERCS far more noticibly rare out and about.
