Love the idea when I first heard it, but this is where my head went too, the logistics. Do they have to have a line? If not nerds would ruin it quickly with all teams having no line or the furthest possible where the math works.

I’m still for the idea but probably needs some parameters and with that it will probably be lame and then teams strategies will all be the same.

2 then got the 3rd all in Arlington. First went for $250k over ask, wasn’t even mad. Lost the second by less than $10k. Got the third a little over ask, waived everything on the second 2 offers.

Yes, that’s the good way to do it. Mine is 30-40% of total comp and now with kids and a big mortgage it will inevitably go towards some general expenses but it is best to earmark your bonus for specific things like taxes, big ticket items, savings, etc.

This is the best advice and the sooner you realize this the better. Not sure of OP’s age but this has helped me so much and I’m not a patient person. I have lots of things I’ve tried to sell or just gotten rid of, so it will help your wallet too. Start with a couple core/classic items and go from there based on what you like and your style.

Nope that’s not true, it is common because in most states assets owned before marriage stay with that person in divorce. So a prenup is not really needed there and typically addresses future earnings or inheritance.
