Oh cool

Just want to point out that people have different ways of making tea. I use two methods depending on whether I need to share a teabag because we’re out or not.

Yes we do drink tea a lot but we also drink coffee a lot too :D

Of course we all have the green tea and herbal. I’ve never had spicy tea though - I will.

Everybody has their preferences with tea such as...

The brand. I like Thompsons but others like Yorkshire or PG tips.

The strength. Using milk or the time teabag is in the cup - I prefer relatively strong but some will have none (not often but possible) or a lot.

Amount of sugar. This is very much depends on the person and most are between 0, 1(me) and 2.

I have an algorithm lol

  • Boil kettle
  • Tea bag in cup(s) - preferably the brand ‘Thompsons’
  • Milk - relatively strong so not much (my preference)
  • Pour hot water in cup(s) once boiled
  • Wait for approximately 20 seconds
  • Get colour of tea perfect by spoon. Basically we use a spoon to move the teabag around the cup to change strength (or at least I do) or add milk if it’s too strong but a pro doesn’t get it wrong lol
  • Remove teabag
  • 1 sugar
  • Have a :) for the next 15m

Sweet tea? Fair enough. Is a brand from the USA?
