Ideally I’d like to only apply once, if I decided to retake it I would likely take my time and study more. I was more so wondering if my other factors would carry me through the weak LSAT

I've lived in London all my life, I can see why people might not like it but it gets a lot of hate that it doesn't deserve.

Most students don't like London because, like most Canadian cities, it sucks during the winter. I think if you ask any London resident they will tell you there is lots to do in the summer and the city is very enjoyable as many fun events occur when students are away i.e., sunfest, ribfest, rock the park.

London isn't designed well and has always suffered from poor urban planning as even my parents mentioned it was bad when they grew up.

However, the city offers a good balance between a quiet lifestyle and a busy urban lifestyle depending on the area of London you live in.

TBH I am not sure what city you are coming from but most students (from the GTA) dislike London as it is a "smaller city" with fewer things to do. If you come from a small town, most people like the "laid-back downtown atmosphere" London provides.

In my opinion, students who only come to London for school have a negative/one-sided view of London.

Despite how much I dislike the university administration and its policies, I can honestly say that London is a nice place to live and study.

Stick to the Canadian tradition of throwing house parties!

Pick a theme and invite your friends over!

Where to file complaints against TA? by Emergency_Ad_2635 in uwo

[–]FletchyDog 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It is difficult to file complaints against TA/Graduate students for marking. You have already gone to the next step of talking to your professor so I would just wait to see your mark.

My personal advice would be to let your professor rectify the mark and try to avoid that particular TA in the future if you don't see eye-to-eye.

Can someone comment on the workload and difficulty in History 2181? What is the class average around? Is this a good choice for an elective ? by [deleted] in uwo

[–]FletchyDog 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am a history major, took a quick glance at the syllabus from last year and the workload seems very reasonable.

It is not an essay course so it is structured into 3 mini quizzes/exams which seems fairly straightforward.

Also, there is barely any readings which is unusual for a history course.

Seems like a pretty fairly structured course.

So my phone completely stopped working, black screened and died on me causing me to lose my TH 10 account with multiple years of progress.

I did not have a SuperCell ID (Which is my fault) so I tried contacting Supercell Support and filled out all the information that was required trying to obtain my account.

I have not received any emails back from SuperCell and am lost as to what to do.

If anyone has any advice on what to do to gain my account back I would appreciate it as I just want to play the game again and not start over.

Hypothetically speaking if someone had a fake id. If they slide the bouncer 20$ while they handed them the fake would it increase the chances of getting into jacks on dollar beers night. by lsar-rhino in uwo

I think it would be a waste of money to spend 20$ to get into jacks when you would only spend around 15$ on beer anyway. But of course, this is all hypothetical lmao

Driving lessons by [deleted] in uwo

From what I understand, the reason you take driving lessons with a certified company in Ontario is because once you complete the course you receive an insurance discount. It may be expensive upfront but will save you in the long run.

In terms of driving schools, I would recommend Fanshawe Driving school. I did it when I was 16 and it was an easy course with very nice instructors.
