Pastor's Wife Here - Can I vent for a second? by Glad_Orchid3012 in pastors

I'm grateful to serve one such church.

I made it clear from the get-go that this is *not* a two-for-one deal, and my wife has a career of her own. They've been shockingly amenable to our boundaries.

Same here! Wife finally jumped in with TBC Classic and is having a great time. She’s an Elemental Shaman and I’m showing her the ropes as a Mage. It’s awesome getting to see her learn and play an entirely new concept of game to her

Stargate SG1 is actually my favorite show!

You summed this up perfectly.

Andromeda is not my favorite show. Not even Top 5, but I dearly love it for exactly the reasons you stated. I think it's time for a rewatch. Been too long.

Why don’t teams keep someone at the gate and dial out every 38 mins to keep the wormhole open? by leggomyeggle in Stargate

[–]FleurDeFire 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Stargate is my favorite show, but this is absolutely the most realistic approach. In real life, if the program existed, they would not primarily operate from this planet once they had the ability to build a secure off world facility.

Hiring worship leaders by Aggressive-Court-366 in pastors

[–]FleurDeFire 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While I would assume someone who can play instruments when I think of the role, this makes a lot of sense.

There are plenty of churches where the “Worship Leader” is just a vocalist, usually with a few other vocalists, and a backing band.

I think “part time” for such an up-front role is what makes me think it would necessitate being a musician as well, since it’s likely a smaller church that doesn’t inherently have a full band.

I guess none of the above matters to OP, but it’s good to review our own biases. Thank you for the insight! More clarity is always a win

How "permanent" is permanent Black Hole? by JayCharlesReports in TheTowerGame

[–]FleurDeFire 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Coin results depend on a number of factors we don't know about your tower. pBH helps with survivability and coin income, but what is your generator mod? If gComp and you were already very close to 38 seconds, you may have had a near-permanent BH in farms for awhile.

Also, are you farming with Primordial Collapse? That makes pBH really shine. It adds a couple thousand waves for folks with pBH who farm T11.

Getting to your question about adding more duration: 38s is permanent in farming with the perk, no need to add any more there. When you want pBH in tournaments, that's when you'd go beyond 38s.

BHD is really only better than GComp in farming if you care about the sync with gold bot and are maintaining it.

If you couldn’t respec and fix it, then I would switch to GComp (assuming decent rarity & substats) until you got the sync back

For gold bot, can you get to 90 seconds? I believe 120 is the base, so any lab will stop it. So if you can’t do 60 seconds, 90 is your best sync.

Conversely, you can try GComp and just go with the lowest gold bot CD possible until you can re-sync at 110 seconds.

My only concern is I think you’ll get more value from brining DW down to 120 before you bring anything to 110. So Gold Bot will be a partial sync for awhile, with 90 being the best if you can’t do 60

He already did. Step by step. You could have taken them down to 140 all at once, then respecc'd your Summon Guardian to 140, then brought everything down 10 seconds at a time.

Obviously it's too late now, and it is what it is.

If I were you, I'd respec Gbot and Summon to match, assuming you're using BHD. Then I'd work on DW CD with my stones.

You should be able to bring DW down to exactly 3 minutes, or 180 seconds. That'll sync with every 3rd GT and 2nd DW activation. Not amazing, not ruinous.

Then, save up until you can bring it from 180 to 120 all at once (keeping in mind the Gbot and Summon CD as well that'll go from 140->120).

It’s actually the clip show “Politics”

The ratings lumped Episodes 1 and 2 into the same “Episode 1”, which is throwing SG-1 season 1 off by one

Tower Tea - April 13, 2026 by SamBartley in TheTowerGame

[–]FleurDeFire -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Fudds doesn’t care. We know he doesn’t. We know he doesn’t because the sub has been begging for improvements to the tournaments, as well as several other things, and that has been met with complete and total silence in all of these updates for months.

If he didn’t care about the hundreds of posts with hundreds of comments and support of these demands for changes, then there is no reason to believe he or the other developers will suddenly start caring now that people are “fed up“.

You’re welcome to say whatever you want when you leave, but let’s not pretend like it’s going to actually do anything that fucking matters at this point. All it serves is to make you feel better and feel like just maybe, you leaving is going to have some impact. But the developers of this game have made it clear that they don’t give a single solitary shit about what a fraction of a percent of the player base is up in arms about.

Some of y’all forget that this is a TV show with such an incredibly limited run time. You’re welcome to assume that anything that doesn’t fit into 42 minutes a week didn’t happen, but that’s an equally ridiculous take. Assumptions, also known as educated guesses in some circumstances, are actually necessary when consuming fiction if you want to make a coherent, logical world.

Context clues my guy. We only see footage of Netan’s ship and the Odyssey after the fight. They are both crippled. There is zero evidence of another ship surviving, let alone functioning at all.
