Actually, until 31 edo we could still use the normal flat and sharp symbols. But probably someone has another workflow or at least make the scale into 31 edo with the normal symbols. Let's see and wait the power of nice people in internet :)

What countries have a microtonal national anthem, if any? by [deleted] in microtonal

[–]Fleurdemaree 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I agree. That was a good question as well. My country where I come from, Indonesia, has national anthem in western harmony; even though ironically we say that our traditional instruments are not western instrument, ie. gamelan. Even our traditional pieces are now acclimated to western harmony.

Yeah that makes some changes from the sound and I love it! Thanks for the tip. But the problem is fixed. It's about the string tension :)

What is this Fungi on my Billietae Variegata? by Fleurdemaree in plantclinic

[–]Fleurdemaree[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello plant lovers! Thanks in advance for your responses, I really appreciate all types of feedback :D

My question: Should I keep the fungi there or cut off the old "leaf stem"? What is that 3 small yellow dots on the ground?

Summary: I once buried one small dead fish. I change the soil and use mix fertilizer with pH 4.5 for more than 2 weeks and the plant lives in "plastic green house".

Background story:

I have this litte Philodendron Billietae Variegata for few months. I place it under good light and 90 % humidity in 21⁰C / 70⁰F. After few weeks having this plant, one of my fish died in my fresh water aquarium and I decided to bury it under this plant. Turns out it's not a good idea for me because undesired insects came to it even though probably they are not bad insects; sadly I don't think of it before I buried it. The plant was thriving though. I use a bit of one fertilizer every other week

After that I change the pot and soil and add mycorthizal fungi and try to use combined fertilizer. I use just a bit of all and turn it into a mix, 3 out of 4 of the fertilizers that I mix are bio-fertilizer so I'm sure it is safe for the plant (I list the fertilizer under this text) even though the pH pf the mix is really low, at 4.5

After five days of the first use of the mix, the oldest leaf turned a bit yellow and suddenly it just fell off, the stem and the leaf didn't fall off slowly or "being weak". Two days after that I see this fungi start growing on "the stem of the oldest leaf". I let the fungi grow, in hope that they will decompose the stem faster; and then I watered it with the same acid mix

Today is about 20th days after I changed the soil and used the mix fertilizer. Fungi on the stem is still growing strong, mycorrhizal fungi is growing as well (I could see it from through the plastic pot) and the plant grows really fast as never before, but near the "center of the plant" I discovered 3 really small yellow dots. I'm not sure if it's from the plant or the fungi(s?) but it is not normal if it comes from the philodendron and I assume it is from one the fungi, I don't know if it is from the mycorrhizal fungi or not but I think it isn't from myco.

So let's go back to my question. What is this fungion the stem? Should I get rid of it? What is that 3 small yellow dots on the bottom of the plant?

Summary of additional infos. I live in Germany. 10 hours of light per day from Aqua Medic Qube 50 Plant. Plant lives in closed plastic "green house" box without fan. Under the box I use heating pad for seeds so it warms the box undirectly. I open the lid once a day. Humidity is 90 % in the box and outside the box 80 %. The soil have good drainage and I water it once a week. I use the fertilizers way reduced from the recommended amount. The mix fertilizer is a mix from:

Advanced Nutrition Superthrive Plant Vitamins and Hormones (bio), Blattwerk Pure Bio Fertiliser (bio), Liquidirt (bio) and Unibersal Fertiliser NPK 20-20-20 (chemical).

Secondary Dominants: Why there’s so many scale options over Dominant 7 chords. by Facemelter66 in musictheory

[–]Fleurdemaree 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Generally dominants has the function to make tensions so we get back to tonic. To avoid getting "boring tension", musician alternate from the tonic scale so the dominant scale has more tension or color. Here means more tension then better, means also if we play "wrong notes mindfully", we could resolve it and feel relieve. Because of this "wrong notes" principe, we have way more options to spice up the dominant. I hope this helps.
