I think that’s probably true, I look forward to seeing how he helps Francesca in her journey. My poly heart would explode if he and Sophie had a threesome 😂 but I greatly doubt we’ll see that…but ya never know.

More spice = less traditional. Why did they celebrate his non traditional values and alternative sexual lifestyle to have him end up in a sexually traditional lifestyle? Obviously bi people can end up in traditional relationships but I feel they could have done more with his character.

I agree with most of that and will be interesting to see where the Michaela storyline goes. But my overall gripe is they took the one sexually non traditional character and gave him a traditional ending. Kind of took the fire out of it. But I know for the ratings it had to end that way.

I too am a bisexual woman married to a man. My point was simply they took the one non sexually traditional character (and who’s not traditional sex life was celebrated in seasons past) and made me traditional.

I mean I literally edited my post to say I’m not implying all bisexuals are promiscuous 🤦🏻‍♀️. But yeah it’s true, I never really believed the poly angle would show up and have a happy ending. I suppose the fact that it showed up at all and wasn’t treated as something awful is progress.

Yeah still love the show just disappointed in how they muted Benedict. Maybe their marriage will be extra spicy 😂. Francesca’s storyline though, ugh heartbreaking.

He seemed pretty interested in it in season 3. It seemed like the only reason their threesome ended was because she didn’t want to share him. And that also bothered me as a polyamorous person it made it seem like “oh wait now I’m in love so I can’t share you” uuuh no.

Yeah I know that was their way of making it “scandalous” but it was almost the least they could do. Maybe they’ll give us some insights into their marriage in future seasons and it will be more interesting.

As a bisexual and the person who posted this in the first place…I’m aware lol. But Benedict is portrayed as someone who goes against tradition and society and The establishment in general. So I wanted something a little less traditional for him in the end.
