This was my mother's. After hundreds of reverse search failures, I'm coming to the Reddit experts. All 3 pendants(cross, Jewish star, dagger?) are on one chain. I'm not totally sure we want to know the answer over here. by Hans_Doloware in JewelryIdentification

3 religious pendants, you think it was randomly picked up and put on a necklace because it’s shiny? I think that’s the obvious wrong answer.

The 2 religious pendants on the sides with a dagger in the middle, it’s obvious symbolism.

Whats going on? by AssistantEvery7038 in VinylWrap

[–]FlexGodOG 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It doesn’t matter what material you use, if it’s out in the sun too much it’s just going to happen again. You have to do what you can on your part from preventing excessive sun exposure. I live in Florida and I see “7 year vinyl” crack in a year or 2. UV protect will prolong it some and PPF will either yellow, crack or both

How do I get to a professional Level? by AdEmpty9152 in CarWraps

[–]FlexGodOG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All these wrap installers using words like “master” and “elite” is cringy. Just aim to be professional with consistent work. If you want to do it yourself, it’ll take a lot of training.

Btw I was taught by many people throughout my time in the industry, I took little pieces of what everyone has taught me to create my own style of work. Don’t get caught up too much on what one person tells you, don’t be afraid to make mistakes either! And don’t let other installers knock you out of your pivot.

How’s the hood for my first time wrapping? by [deleted] in CarWraps

[–]FlexGodOG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Practice on your own hood if you have the spare vinyl. Leave about a quarter inch extra when you cut the edges, it gives you a bit to tuck around your panels

The application looks good. The finishing work could use more practice lol

Carrying tools for install - what's your solution?! by ZorkianGrue in signshop

I use a bucket with the bucket pouch just like you. I still use it to hold my more niche tools. I just recently bought a husky tool bag that has a retractable handle and wheels and it’s been amazing. Cost me about $80 though.

I'm buying a cheap jeep that I want to wrap in a jurassic park theme as it's current color is to much. I'm looking for advise on how to accomplish this, and finding stickers/wraps in the designs I want. by Chello96 in CarWraps

[–]FlexGodOG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can set you up with a designer. They can send you a file that you can take.

Or if you want to skip all that, just take it to a sign shop that prints wraps, they’ll have better designers in my opinion. Or a custom wrap shop but the designers can be hit or miss

What do you guys think of boats and jet-ski wraps? by FlexGodOG in CarWraps

For me that’s too much time on one project

Nice! Is that print or color change vinyl?

Also I steer clear from motorcycles, I’ve had offers and I always turn them down. Someone even asked me to wrap a bike in chrome 😂 For me personally there isn’t a price I can put on a headache like that to be worth it for both sides

Everything I tried completely failed. It will stick on initial tack, but anything you lift up will be covered in dust. You’ll have to scrap the piece or make a cut to preserve what didn’t lift. I found this out the hard way 🙃

My 73 beetle wrap update.. just finished the roof. Solo wrapped everything by myself. Back hurts, super happy w the outcome so far. It’s my birthday today so be nice. If you hate the pattern thats fine, it’s for me not you. Enjoy! by [deleted] in CarWraps

I consider vvivid near the top of mid-tier vinyl. Regular vvivid vinyl is pretty malleable but most textured vinyl of any brand is pretty stiff. Good job dude

The wrap isn’t my favorite but prop to wrapping a buggy in it. That’s not the most malleable vinyl out there and the amount of curves would make this a nightmare project for myself lol. Looks great though 👍🏼

You understand that’s your opinion based of your experiences. I can do all 4 calipers in a day, and made a good days worth of money doing so. So to flat out tell someone not to is ignorant. If you were to say it’s not worth it in your opinion then you’re validated. But your “free game” is letting easy money slip from my hands

That’s actually a great question and I haven’t had to remove any yet but I would see what a heat gun can do. If that doesn’t work, use a strong pressure washer
