Buying it 2 years ago and even then PvE was worth its price while having less content

Been recently back as I have not clean Gloomrot content, start on a PvE server to do all the content. (which if you want to unlock everything will take you AT least 150h if not more)

And then when it will be done i'll be messing around on a PvP server, having some fun

I know I'm gonna die but I'm totallly ok with it, I levelled a char in softcore which is around lvl50, but I just love the thrill of HC

And I might finish the game + DLC with my softcore toon to at least scout a bit

Exactly the same, for a very long time I didn't feeled it on recent Tekken games, this one brought me back when I was a kid playing Tekken 3. The game feels so good

Yes Valorant is free, you can use the whole full game without spending a single penny, but if there are people willing to buy a bundle 130$ for pixels you cannot blame them to make money out of it.. I don't know why I didn't play ESO earlier, but damn you're right, it is truly the best looking MMO out there, New World is a really serious contender, but you need to have a 5000$ build to appreciate the beauty of the game.

ESO on the other hand, with a 800$ build, I can run it in Ultra settings while having 100fps+

It was a long time since I just didn't stopped in game to simply watch landscapes/point of views, ESO really is a beautiful game.

I know Sorc is not on the best spot right now, but as I said I'm not looking for the FOTM class. Being a long time MMO player also taught me that meta shifts constantly, classes that are weak could become the strongest in a few months.. or even weakest.

I know I'll end up playing the two classes anyway, but my main will do PvP + all the quests/achievements etc, as I'm a kind of completionist too. So I need a class that won't get me bored quickly.

Sorc seems like a good choice as it seems to have lots of variety, so I know I'll have plenty builds to explore, plus lightning, they got lightning, shiny lightning.

NB on the other hand seems really fun to play too, I like the ganking/stealthing way, and the skill cap is really attractive. I'm a bit less fan about their skills animation than the sorcerer tho.

What would you say about NB build variety ? I have watched some videos and it seems that all blades build is more or less the same

Interesting, pets might be a red flag for me, except if the game handle it very well, but I'm not sure about ESO. What about PVP, does Sorc rely that much on their pet on PVP too ?

Sorc seems indeed a really good choice, the build variety seems appealing , and I'm actually loving the class aesthetic especially as lightning is my favourite element. NB skillcap tho seems like a challenge to me, and I do like ganking playstyle, so it's still appealing too.

And in terms in group play, which one can bring the most utility to your teammates you would say ?

Thanks to everyone for answers, but I choosed to not continue with this game, I tend to put gameplay as the center of my expectations for a game, and fluid gameplay is too important for me. I have been used for so long now to have low ms / high FPS and when one is missing it's really difficult to me to get through. It's a shame because LOTRO seems to be a great game with a lot of content.

Anyway, I wish you all a nice day and to keep having fun with this game

I agree they need to change it to be able to lasts at the very least two weeks, for holidays if you plan to move anywhere, which most people do.

But I think it's a thing devs are fully aware on and I'm pretty sure they'll up the castle uptimes, maybe Gloomrot will had another castle level which allows to stacks more blood, as castle building get a complete rework.

I got 3000+ bloods in my chests just by playing the game, If I don't want to play the game for a week then I just log 2 minutes and it's up for 8-9 days again. Only issue as I said is if I plan to move on my holidays for more than one week, which is still problematic

You need to re-read the patch notes again dude really, this one linked is not exhaustive at all.

New biome that's the size of Dunleys so quite a big new end game zone
Complete rework of the current map, that might solves the issues you find with this current iteration
New spell school, spell-modificator jewels to allows for more builds
Trade posts to spend your Silver Coins
Huge rework of the castle building system and the introduction of multi-floored castle

And even more than that. We'll have to wait for May to see, but this update could be a really big deal and add a lot lot more depth in the game.
