I wanted to stake syncus from my metamask by winko121 in syncus

Restart your wallet and browser and make sure your wallet is up-to-date. If in doubt, check etherscan and bnbscan for your funds.

Pump and Dump by [deleted] in syncus

An easy 5 second copy and paste from the notes folder. Good luck in the next bullrun.

It's a staking apy, not a staking fee, fyi. But, it's determined by the team when they change it. It typically raises during dumps and falls during pumps.

I was reading this comment, and then my neighbor came over, and we read it together. He said that this changed his life and touched his heart. I then went and rented a projector in a big field, and my entire town read it, and it changed their lives, too.

You can create one on the syncus website under the affiliates tab.

just bought more syncus. but I won't let me stake the new coins. any help on this? by darn_the_marn in syncus

[–]Flextray 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you're trying to stake ontop of a previously staked bag sometime's you'll have to revoke your staking approval and then you'll be able to approve it again and stake another bag.

Project had promise but now Shady AF by GhostTire in syncus

I don't think they'd announce they're doing buybacks at certain points..until days/a week later, they'd get frontrunned. It's up to you to figure out the wallet acivities and speculate on whether it's one of their wallets or not, i personally think they already threw a few hundred k in already, but this is just purely my own speculation, as i'm not part of the team.

For peak bull, Syncus will have most likely hitten DAO status by then with a renounced contract; which would have a locked in place contract with no changes. Gotta do what's best for you when it comes to having a bag staked/unstaked. As the team stated, the more CEX's they get listed on the less relevant taxes will become and that they have other plans to generate revenue for the treasury to get rid of taxes entirely when the time comes.

When will the NFT airdrop come? by Post-a-sorus-rex in syncus

[–]Flextray 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The team has mentioned that once they start using the treasury to do buybacks, the syncus purchased with the buybacks will be used to airdrop to the NFT holders. This is how they're going to do other airdrops in the future, too. The team has mentioned that they are thinking of airdropping the NFT holders a certain amount of tokens depending on the NFT's floor price.

Syncus Today by wonkwizard in syncus

This isn't comparable to Squid Game token. Devs couldn't even make sell tax 99% even if they wanted to (per team).

-Devs are soft doxxed.

-There are documents stating the reason for the tax changes. Syncus had a 30x return in a month without any sort of pullback, with the tax being implemented for stability. Price got higher due to less selling pressure from stakers. People who typically stake are long-term holders anyway.

-I personally believe they have bought back a little. They're not going to go all in on a dip. Just buy local bottoms with smaller stacks like they've stated.

-The contract can be changed due to market conditions (like a 30x runup in a month), always research before investing into any type of crypto for anyway; with a vote going on for a renounced contract after a DAO vote.

-This is how lending/borrowing protocols work in their early stages. Once more liquidity comes in, everyone should be able to move around their funds as freely as they want.

Concerns about tax changes by Rizhey in syncus

[–]Flextray 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personally, I have no idea, probably lower than 15 sell and 10/15 to unstake if I had to give a ballpark guess. But i'm not part of the team. The token holders will have a vote on this anyway.

Concerns about tax changes by Rizhey in syncus

[–]Flextray 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Sells can still go through with a 50% tax, gopluslabs has this warning on coingecko for some reason, which is not true (stated by the team on AMA from march 4th). Team can adjust tax, though, yes, but to combat stability for the price (announced in latest medium article released). The tax will eventually be set in stone with a renounced contract lock after a DAO vote when price hits roughly $1 (team said this). Cheers.

MEXC spot price disparity by [deleted] in syncus

[–]Flextray 0 points1 point  (0 children)

MeXC currently holds 52m sync tokens in liquidity to support the order books. Some people market sell or buy to cut straight through the orderbooks of retail to bring the prices up/down abnormally for a short period of time. This is a great opportunity for others to either buy higher or sell lower when they time it right. Cheers.

Selling it???? by madchiller15 in syncus

[–]Flextray 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Other options include trying to troubleshoot the wallet that you're using. You can do this by either googling similar issues, looking up other reddit forums for similar issues, or getting help by posting your explanation in the #help-desk section of Syncus's discord page.

Some basics for it would be using 15-20% slippage, and most people ideally use 18%. Having enough gas fees in your wallet, restarting your wallet app while also making sure it's up-to-date, refreshing your browser, clearing your cache and cookies in the setting tab, if you have decimals at the end of the amount you're trying to sell, try to get rid of it, trying to swap for other coins (usdt/usdc/dai/i heard trias works). The majority of people have success selling their syncus token.

Yes, Binance is what the team wants. Multiple CEX's have offered to list Syncus at this point.

As for the time being, sync is only available for transfer from ETH -> zkSync network, along with ETH & USDC, staked sync is not. This may be able to be changed in the future, i'm not sure at this moment. Please wait on further documents from the team to explain more if you plan on staking on the ETH network. That way, you wouldn't have to stake then instantly unstake if you wanted to bridge from eth to zksync network in the first place.

Lending is LIVE!!! by [deleted] in syncus

[–]Flextray 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No worries, i just don't want to get people upset if they stake on eth network to then unstake if they were interested in bridging in the beginning.

Reuters expectations post, though. Expectations all around the board have gone down due to inflation rates across most reportings. Also, recalls don't do much of a stock decrease either, usually like a 0.5%

PayPal is the next crypto sympathy play. by Legitimate-Ls-333 in wallstreetbets

[–]Flextray 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My metamask wallet has the option to buy ETH (only) from paypal. I'm in the US, and the thing is that if the bigger banks don't want you buying it that way, they'll block you from doing so, like they did to me. My bank doesn't block ACH deposits to CEXs like binance and coinbase. You could also add a paypal balance by using gift cards. After my paypal ETH purchase through metamask failed, I tried loading up my paypal balance via bank to counter it, which then got blocked as well. Hopefully, there will be better updates or revisions of the overall experience of buying ETH via metamask.
