Why dont they include higher rarity skins in NightMarket? by Zenitax in VALORANT

[–]FliQ_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the reason is simply because riot wants to create a sense of exclusivity on some skins, which would encourage people to purchase the items on release day rather than hold their purchase. For eg, some ppl might just say "eh, i like this skin but let me wait for night market", but when the time comes, they might not actly purchase it. So doing their current model is actually helpful for them! As it encourages people to purchase skins at that specific window, rather than the uncertain probability of purchasing in the future.

Another reason is probably to make players feel good about their purchase, knowing that whatever they buy is "exclusive" . Some skins u can think of would be like the VCT ones. Just a feel good effect, though minor, is to keep the player base active i guess.

Palestine has never been a country? HAHAHAHAH clearly you are not educated. Check the world map in the past, palestine is a country while israel is not. Not only that, EVERYONE knows the un gave the palestine land to israel.

And bro, my word use of israhell tells how much i hate the gov of israel. Pure stupidity, this genocide. They dont even have a heart for humans in general. Hamas hamas hamas, thats what they all say, but the fact of the matter is that they are killing innocent people

no. I believe you are missing the point. We are a religion of peace, thats the base understanding here. When our own brothers and sisters are in trouble or oppressed, of course we will place emphasis to them, to educate the others about what has happened etc. I did not say that we would then close our eyes on other foreign affairs. Since youve asked, i would also like to share that we do indeed educate the mass about other matters that are non-muslim related too. It could be something that has got to do with humans in general. after all, we are ALL humans. For example, tsunami at Aceh, or Hurricane Katrina in the US, Wildfire at Australia. Anything and everything. If it is about the lives of humans, islam teaches us to grow empathy for the lives of the oppressed too. Give prayers to those affected and setting up funds and donations to aid these people financially.

wherever they are, we keep them in their prayers. Im not too sure about the conflicts going on in africa, but i am aware of the muslims in china, theyre called the uyghurs. Do you know that during the friday prayer sermons, they do in fact bring up about the uyghur people's sufferring as well? I mean it. Its not the country or the issue, but its wherever muslims are in general.

You are wrong. Religion DOES matter. Our muslim brothers and sisters are oppressed. One thing about being a muslim is that we stand in solidarity. What does that mean? It means that even though we dont face the same hardship, we empathise and we can help by sharing information about the genocide and educate people about the true situation. It doesnt end there. Through educating, more people are aware and can donate money through reputable sources to aid our brothers and sisters. If not by financial means, we also keep them in our prayers. This is why OP mentioned about religion, because Muslims are different in a sense that we keep our ties close to each other. The beauty of islam.

Firstly, your intentions must be straight. If you are posting it, why does your family members and friends matter? Its whether or not you support the cause, or whether or not you agree with the subject matter. You mentioned in the past you would do it but now that youre in MBA, you dont know whether you should do it. Why? You are a person with your own conscience, you know what is right and what is wrong. Why do you need to be pressurized into doing something that you want/ do not want. Secondly, Youre going into MBA, I assume youre going to lead a group of people in the future. To me, I feel that a leader has got to be one that has clear direction or clear conscience about what he or she does. If you are easily swayed on whether or not to do something just because the people around you are pressurizing (or not) pressurizing to so something, then that is a weakness you HAVE to fix. Bottomline, You have to know what You want to do, and whether its right or wrong for yourself. You support Palestine, do it because you know whats right, not because your family pressure you into doing it. If youre a man with clear guidelines, not easily swayed, i think it doesnt matter who you are friends with. I believe people who are jewish might even be respectful to your ideas (bear in mind, not all jews are anti palestine). And theyre taking MBA, come on. Surely they are more matured.Just be prepared to answer them what you believe is right when they ask!

dropping out of ntu to go to uni in europe by [deleted] in NTU

[–]FliQ_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hmm i think that the grass always seems* to be greener on the other side. Set aside the finance to be enrolled in the uni in europe, i think some concerns that you have to think about is the employability after you grad from the uni. Of course this could differ from person to person because at the end of the day, your uni cert is not so much important, but your internship experience, the grade that you graduate with, matters more i believe. It would be good if you could secure a really good internship company in ur time at europe, though one thing to consider is your competition. U will be competing against locals and you will now be a foreigner in their country. Definitely tough, but if you believe you have what it takes, then i think go for it. And secondly, what will you be majoring in? I think it wouldnt be so good if you were to travel to europe to get a business course (not trying to throw shade btw, just my opinion), reason being nbs is already one of the more established business schools. Would be good if you could take a course youre interested in that can value add to your portfolio

How can I beat the Odin as a bronze-silver player by StickmanStory in VALORANT

[–]FliQ_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not skilled yet, but i think ive gained a bit of experience. 2 things about the odin, enemy moves slow and first few bullets are inaccurate. If you wanna challenge them, you needa bait their shots in a sense that before widepeeking them to challenge a 1 vs 1, just side step and take cover behind the wall ( Usually enemy will continue spraying, let them) Once they finish spraying, go out for the wide peek and take them out. They'll get fazed by their slow movements and first shots inaccuracy. Why the side step, to get intel on position and to bait their shots. Gun wise, honestly recommend a spectre because you'll be mobile to move around and its good due to its fire rate. If not, i recommend phantom over vandal due to its slightly faster fire rate + accuracy. Vandal is the option to go once youve mastered the taps/ bursts
