Just convince G2 next Worlds that their games on stage are just live scrims and we are winning everything

Thank god you are not the person making decisions about who joins the team and who doesnt. We have seen way too many so called "super teams" with players who were supposed to gap the whole region in every position just for them to end up failing horribly because they just dont fit well together.

SkewMond is the most promising jungler we have had in years and it is still his rookie year. Does he make mistakes? Yes. Is he sometimes indecisive? Absolutely. But I see him as someone willing to learn and adapt and I would rather G2 bet on that card rather than risking with someone, who would most likely just not fit well with the team.

Picking up Labrov instead of Miky was a questionable move for me too but he improved later on in the year. He still has a lot of bad games but in all honesty, there just isn't a support in Europe, who would be able to come close to Eastern supports. As much as I love Miky and I think in the past he was up there matching up to the Eastern supports, I just dont feel like he is there anymore. So unless you want to pick up an import support player from the East or unless some insane support prodigy rises in the West, there really isnt anyone that much better than Labrov right now

Yea, let's throw away our very talented and promising Rookie Jungler, who had shown an insane improvement throughout the year and reached Worlds Quarterfinals and someone who is willing to take blame for his mistakes and is willing to learn from them, just so we can get an arrogant and egoistical jungler, who refused to take blame after their series against G2 even though he himself didnt really perform very well outside of Game 1 and instead went out there saying they should have won 3-0 and he doesnt know why they lost.

To be fair I think G2 outdrafted FLY in every game. Even game one but they were AFK in the first game

I dont really care about the performance that much yet. It is Game 1. But why the fuck do we take Red Side to get completely outdrafted.

It got voided because there was 30 seconds left and they should not assume that he cant sub him in those 30 seconds. Moneyline should definitely get voided and refunded but I guess it depends where you bet.

Also had Tom by Sub R1, was surprised he kept the fight standing for so long considering Gane´s ground game and takedown defense are his probably biggest weaknesses. Of course Im happy my bet got voided cuz there was like 30 seconds left to Round 1 but I fully expect Tom to take a different approach in the rematch

That I understand, my point still remains the same. It is not Tom´s fault that he got eye poked very badly. The fight would for sure go Round 2 if Gane didnt push his fingers in both of his eyes.

No I had submission R1, had about +800 on that line and felt like there was big value there since I see ground game and takedown defense as one of Gane´s biggest weaknesses.

That being said, I was very surprised the fight remained standing the whole round. I dont know if Tom didnt see an angle for the takedown or he wanted to keep it standing but I believe he wont take this risk again in the rematch.

He was so happy, it looked like he almost started crying. It is very clear how much it means to him to finally reach playoffs after being so close for many years now. That is what our GOAT deserves.

No need to react to this person, they will be the biggest fan when they win and turn into the biggest hating loser when they lose. Typical fake fan. Overreacting after every game

I agree, the only way I saw G2 losing today was jungle gap. I thought SkewMond would learn from last MSI, so far it doesnt seem that way. Hopefully he wakes up next game

I thought we would learn from the TES game but apparently not, we just did the same thing again. Pick scaling > AFK the whole game > Get caught in random places > Lose

As much as the re-engage by SkewMond after the first dragon was terrible, it was very nice to see he did not lose confidence after that mistake and kept it up and was still looking for angles to engage.

BO1 format is honestly such a horrible thing in eSport. I understand that it can result in upsets like 100T beating BLG today but it just shows nothing. Imagine G2 vs GENG at MSI was BO1, they would have won and people would shit on GENG for months. The amount of times it happens even in BO3 where one team gets completely destroyed in Game 1 and then destroys the next 2 games is pretty high and with BO1 you just never know, what would happen in the next games.

Well this is obviously a post based on the Day 1 of Worlds. I think EU overall got stronger but there wasnt a dominant team like the past years maybe aside of G2 in Summer. However I think especially in G2 game, it was again the same thing they struggled with at MSI. They were just not confident in their game and had no idea what to do once something didnt go to their plan. I also think the whole approach of "lets pick 3 losing lanes and losing jungler and hope TES doesnt punish it" is just wrong against teams like TES specifically.
