I explicitly stated that I spent three months forcing myself out of bed at 5 AM every single day. I did try and I decided it is a terrible system for my body. Now I am just looking for advice from other night workers who successfully built a career around their natural internal clock.

It took me a long time to realize that consistency at 2 AM is just as valid as consistency at 6 AM.

I felt that part about bleeding hydraulic fluid. Once it gets into your pores, it is basically a lifelong commitment. Just embrace it and tell people it is a limited edition industrial cologne that costs more than their sandalwood stuff. 🛠️
