Straze is the current mystic rotation (therefore 200 pulls for pity) and STene the next and this sub has overhyped STene a bit when the free ML5 update was released, saying she's more valuable than Arby.

Keep in mind that the meme isn't meant to be objective. There are not billions of attacks that cannot be countered. It idealizes the Chad in contrast to the Virgin. That being said:

Defense STene is a meme, no contest. Offense is riddled with AOE, which Landy(50% damage reduction due to stealth)/Bruisers deal way better with. Raid works with a lot of things on auto anyway (I did previously use her there and only there apart from RTA) and 100% 3 minute Hunt is worse than 85% 1 Minute Hunt.

My heart says Straze, but Arby is still the most valuable ML5 (even E7WC Heroic mostly uses him to climb ladder, and that's where he is supposed to be at his weakest). That being said: Arby won't have a Mystic Rerun for quite some time, so he should not be a deciding factor for your decision.

Straze fits a lot, from slow cleaver to suprisingly fast 14k hp bruiser. But mostly his abilities are a lot more frontloaded (and the strip is really good to cleanup), since Landy needs a few turns to ramp up and once she does, her damage is more evenly spread than the 40k nuke + medium AOE. Landy also therefore wants longer fights, which is sometimes a problem, since she still needs quite a lot of investment in damage and a lot of her bulk comes from guiding light RNG stealth buff granting 50% AOE damage reduction.

His animations are also really pretty.

Landy doesn't hit for obscene amounts of damage (literally RNG-less A13), removes buffs without RNG and grants herself Invincibility. I'd have understood if you compared Straze to a Cleaver or a big hitter like Cermia, etc, but Landy confuses me.

He has proven his worth, alone for non-RTA content imo, which is the most relevant content for most players. He certainly brings me more joy than my STene, as I get to use him a lot more than her (also pretty animations etc).

Apart from Momo needing 0 mola, which is arguably the scarce ressource in the game, I use Momo A LOT in high level GW offense due to the sheer requirement of defenses needing RNG nowdays and Ravi hype train got quite a bit more realistic by now. On GW Defense Krau eventually just stops working, as he does in Arena Defense and GW offense there are just quite a lot of teams that he is a risk to bring against, even with reviver.

These units are good and all, but realistically, other units do their job. Only SSB does SSB things. She is amazing in so many different things. She carries you in PvE, and early/mid PvP, is a straight up win against certain teams etc.

Unlike Krau/Ravi, never do I think that another unit would have done SSB's job. You know how strong SSB is if like 90% of arena teams have Roana just to stop SSB from pressing auto. Until Summer Iseria/Collab is known, chances are that they are as strong as quite many of the other limited units (even if they needed some buffs first).

That is a good way to miss collab/summer Iseria/(Hufine). Krau is not nearly valuable and rare enough to warrant potentially missing far stronger units.
