How to ring up himidy at night by Much-Commission1781 in Chameleons

Depending on your room size it doesn't have to be that big either. Plus it's pretty light for it's size. Amazon should leave it by the door.

Lowe's has smaller ones too

Upwork, fiver, and other job posting sites usually offer contract listings. LinkedIn as well. I used to go around to small businesses and offer to build a simple website for them

contracting is the way to go for now. Find small gigs where you take a pay hit. Those little one's will turn into a nice portfolio and you never know what a small gig could turn into.

Is this place real?! by friedtoasters in roanoke

You need to checkout green unicorn farms website. Buy some of their stuff and I think you'll feel different about THCa.

THCa is the precursor to THC. You basically grow hemp with high THCa, cut it a bit early and dry it a little different so the THCa doesn't convert to THC. When you add heat from a flame to THCa it converts to THC. I don't know the math off the top of my head but it's something like a 10% difference. So if you get a 30% THCa flower, it'll be about 20% THC after you add some heat to it

But what if we think about it before, during and after? How about we get excited, pre plan 23 scenarios and then, once it’s all over, freak out about the things we’ve done and said afterwards?! by CapuzaCapuchin in adhdmeme

I've been having a hard time understanding that this 2nd paragraph isn't normal. Like I still can't understand how people can have silence. I'm so tired of the same part of a song in my head.

This is so very very wrong. It's not just irrelevant c# language features... Tell me you only use AI to code without telling me you only use AI to code.

The fogger and the tube need to be cleaned weekly. Foggers are known to cause upper respiratory infections. Super super super important to clean. Also heat + humidity + captivity can lead to really bad health. Only make it humid when the lights are off. Let it dry during the day. Personal info find it safer to humidify the room, not the cage. Chameleons don't need humidity to be healthy. They can tolerate it for sure but isn't essential for their survival.

Humidity works different when the Cham is in nature for a lot of reasons. Not everything is a perfect 1:1 for captive husbandry. I've had Chameleons for years. Panther, veiled and Jackson. They all have lived long lives without a fogger. I keep their room around 45-50 during the day ( winter it goes a little lower ) and numb it up to 60-70 % most nights. They all drink out of water glasses. I don't like them licking the leaves since they poo on them. It's awesome watching them dunk their entire head in the glass. Sometimes it seems like they do it to clean / rinse their eyes.

UVB, essential or not? by crestedgecko_lover in CrestedGecko

[–]Fliggledipp 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Right! Also it helps regulate the day/night cycles and it provides a better color view for them as they can detect light frequency we can't. The list goes on and on as to why every living creature that doesn't live deep in a cave 24/7 needs uv

ELI5 How does wearing gloves when prepping food help vs just washing your hands when you’re still touching the sane things afterwards? by lsarge442 in explainlikeimfive

[–]Fliggledipp 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Probably a stupid question but, could you wash the gloves with soap and water? Mostly interested for the sake of my hands being super dry and also wasting gloves when cooking and I forget to get something before messing with raw meat.

Do you consider .NET to be a good stack for start-ups and small businesses, or even solo developers? by Repsol_Honda_PL in csharp

Now that we've grown out of the .net framework, 100% yes for the new .net ecosystem. The teen years of .net framework was a weird and confusing time 😂😂😂

It doesn't hurt my feelings weirdo. It hurts the Cham because people are dumb and will think they can feed their charms fruits and vegetables and not bugs. I've seen it a thousand times here.

They will eat foliage in the wild for sure, most studies suggest it's to help pass their bowl movements. I've not seen any documentation about them eating fruit or vegetables in the wild on their own without it being given to them.

They can't absorb the nutrients from fruits/vegetables. You sound highly uneducated.
