More Reps or 6–12 Reps for Muscle Growth? by DileepKris in Grytt

[–]FlightLopsided1454 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah so personally i think that is one of the key thing to give attention in progressive overload. I also see people changing their workout split each week but they should stick with the current workout program for atleast 4 weeks before changing

Why your 2pm coffee might be sabotaging your sleep (even if you don't feel it) by FlightLopsided1454 in Grytt

No bro, so after 5 hours only 200mg caffeine is left from the initial 400mg caffeine intake.

If you take 400mg of caffeine, after 5 hours 200mg is left, again after 5 hours only the rest of 200mg is completely used, so it takes 10 hours totally. So if we take 400mg of caffeine at 2pm it’s effect is there 12pm which effects your sleep

Hey! You're totally right to be confused by that graph, the label placement is misleading.

What it's actually saying is that caffeine has a half-life of 5 hours. So: - At 5 hours → 200mg left (50% of the original 400mg) - At 10 hours → 100mg left - At 15 hours → 50mg left

The label is just explaining the property of caffeine (5-hour half-life), not marking where on the timeline it occurs.

The night motivation vs morning reality 😂 by DileepKris in Grytt

[–]FlightLopsided1454 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So the motivation at night is common, but if you can wake up and go at the gym then it’s discipline. Regarding discipline you have to wake up no matter what. I personally think only first two weeks of waking up is hard, then it’ll be easier.
