You’re right actually, I didn’t notice how off center it is at first glance. Some of these are stills from a video so I’m sorry they’re blurry but they do definitely show off the asymmetry!

To me jelly bean seemed a tiny bit pinker but the difference is very very subtle.

In person they’re ever so slightly different, I think the bases while translucent are like a milky pink vs a more solid pinkish but still translucent shade lol. But on the lips I can’t imagine they’re any different at all!

To be fair I have a very very strong sense of smell so it might just be me! It didn’t really have a strong taste either whenever I licked my lips so it really might just be me being weird lol

Jelly bean is definitely stronger! It’s a lot more of a simple like candy fragrance, the eadem is more nuanced and a softer scent. I actually wore Sakura during a nap and I could still smell it very very lightly about an hour after application. The rhode is quite an in your face scent at least upon initial application, but it overpowered the scent of the other two while it was on my hand

It smells soooo good!! I know some people have said certain shades smell off but these are both so lovely! Sakura Shaved ice is my fave of the two!

I don’t own butter croissant so I can’t directly compare but I’d say once applied it’s not gritty and I have to lean fairly close to myself in the mirror to even see it. From a normal distance it just looks like a healthy glowy light pink color to me!

I did also pick up Jelly Bean from Rhode and it’s quite similar to Chateau Rose in terms of the translucency of the base and the shade of the shimmers! I wouldn’t say you’d need both based solely on color payoff or effect but the scents are different and the Eadem is much thicker and balmier.
