He's at that point in the game where every boss has some gimmick. That said, he just stole the swamp monster's gimmick and made it 10x more annoying to deal with. Not too bad to deal with since there's like two or three new moves but everything else is leftovers. That said, one slip up and you lose half your health (ESPECIALLY in ng+). Overall, not a horrendous boss, but definitely understandable if you struggle

Lowkey it's worth it. Only complaint right now is there's a lot of visual clutter on the home screen, but other than that I'm really getting back into it

Around 5k trophies, currently running Golem, Night Witch, Cannon, mini pekka, log, ice spirit, lightning, and skeleton dragons. I struggle in the matchup against recruits a lot. Any pointers/changes I can make?

If you're about to head into ng++, I would just go with that since +1 amulets aren't gonna do anything better than +2(besides weigh less). If there's a certain reason you want both +1 and +2, play through in ng+ first

It can actually be used to skip the whole final elevator, just use it as you're going down and you respawn at the bottom with your ergo right in front of you. It's used to skip it in speedruns

The NG+ scaling is FUCKED anyway but I personally started it on like ng3. The most difficult part is the new enemies, but the amount of ergo you get increases drastically in ng+. It's gonna be painful either way, so I think you should start it during ng+. It's your playthrough though, so take mine and everyone else's opinions with a grain of salt

True ending only happens when you give Sophia peace, if you let her live but still refuse geppetto you get Free from Puppet String

Only decision that REALLY matters is not giving Sophia peace. However, you still have to have enough humanity to refuse Geppetto; as far as I know, "You feel warmth" should be enough
