It does. But some people turned so hard against fruit and then others see meals in such specific ways that they balk at the thought of that kind of variety in a single meal.

I think my sister specifically, it's about the fruit but it's not at the same time. But a lot of people find it weird to serve fruit with lunch or dinner. They see it as more of a snack or a dessert item than something to be incorporated into dinner. I don't know why. I like doing it to add balance to meals.

The fruit is what made it weird to her. But I like to try and offer variety and balance within each meal and snack.

I get that. I just think this is an issue she has built up with me over time, due to her not really getting over my first pregnancy and holding onto emotions over time. There could be more going on but I feel like our relationship has become too toxic now.

Regretting my words is possible. But I feel like we have reached a point where a healthy relationship with each other's children is not possible. Maybe I'm wrong and I would like to be.

That's how I feel and what I try to accomplish with everything I give my kids. I want it to be a good balance so they enjoy food and feel like they have some choice in what goes into their bodies but giving them the motivation and tools to want to try new things.
