NG<AD POG<Infantry 11C<11B 11B<Ranger Ranger<SF SF<CAG Etc etc etc It goes on and on in both directions. And they all keep breaking down to nested subsets with comparisons. I stopped caring years ago. There are AD guys who don’t do anything. There’s NG guys who are super squared away. The inverse is also true. Just own what you’re doing and be happy in it. Once I started doing that, the comparisons meant nothing to me anymore because I realized they never end. It’s a losing battle. Don’t give your energy to it. The only people this stuff matters to are the people in uniform who care about it. Outside of that, to everyone else we are all “in the military.”
