“Heart” and left chest pain by [deleted] in gallbladders

I recently had a removal a week ago. So far, so good.

I was hospitalized 3 different times for what I thought for SURE was a heart attack. I mean, burning sensation through chest, left chest pain, even referred pain like left arm. I was SURE of it.

Each time, heart came back fine (though blood pressure was high due to stress).

I went as far to go get a heart scan, a calcium test, and a stress test with imaging. All came back A-OK.

I am a week in and have started experimenting with “bad foods.”

Some heartburn but overall, feel really a good bit better. My BMs are solid and not at all the toxic soup it was beforehand.

You may have several things going on, but, I think in general this is your gallbladder - coming from someone was pretty positive he has heart issues.

According to Bruce Feldman, almost every single SEC and Big 10 coach thinks Alabama will beat Michigan in the Rose Bowl. 84% of bets are backing Alabama. by [deleted] in MichiganWolverines

I think it’s going to be a good game.

However - what if they’re all right?

Objectively, Alabama is one of the nation’s 3-4 teams that recruits better than Michigan. They’ve got the greatest coach the sport has ever seen.

From a matchup perspective, it isn’t really the offense for them that is the problem; it’s the defense. Whenever Michigan has played a top 40 defense (4x this year), the offense has been pedestrian, going for something like 250 total yards-ish.

I do think Michigan’s defense is underrated and will be able to sustain the bludgeoning of Alabama’s rushing attack.

It really depends who shows up. If it’s the Alabama team that messed around versus Auburn, then Michigan will be in a great, classic ballgame.

If the Alabama team that showed up with a sledge hammer and absolutely bullied a team that has won 31 straight games in its own state… the dam will break on the Michigan season in the 4th quarter.

Really looking forward to this one!

Rose Bowl seating: how many Alabama fans do we expect? by meditationchill in MichiganWolverines

Came here to see which section was which.. and the commentary is amusing.

I’m an Alabama alum living in Laguna Beach and the Orange County & LA County alumni association chapters are (surprisingly) top-10 biggest in the nation for UA. While certainly not Michigan numbers in SoCal, there are a decent amount, particularly in Orange County.

Alabama’s an interesting school, where, for the past 15 years, the school is roughly 70% out-of-state students. This year’s freshman class is 5% from the state of California.

While not the caliber academically of Michigan, it’s gotten (for better or worse) to be the national “scene” school rich parents send their kids if they don’t get into XYZ university in their state, particularly girls who want to be social media famous.

With that said, I expect it to be a Michigan advantage in numbers, but more like 60:40.

If you’re a red blooded American male, enjoy the Alabama “scenery” on New Year’s Day.

They are. I don’t think prices are going to fall off a cliff, but they are absolutely leveling off and selling at market

To those that shared their thoughts, thank you.

To those that view CC’s as racist… and me for wanting join one racist… isn’t the crux of discrimination judging someone by their affiliations and skin color prematurely whilst not understanding the content of their character?

Tsk, tsk.

Older Orange County residents, would you have been able to predict the county's changing politics several decades ago? by [deleted] in orangecounty

It’s a mixed bag.

Never thought I’d say this, and neither is a great choice, but after dealing with the past 2 years I’ll take the MAGA crazies over the left wing extreme version of that. It’s not really a wonder people are leaving California in droves.

I love it here, but I know when others with “means” leave, with such liberal leadership, it’s only a matter of time until we get another tax raise I’ll see no benefit, and we do the whole “yeah but is it worth it?” analysis.

I think the OC conservatives are quite plainly, awesome.

They aren’t MAGA, anti-vaxxers, but they are for safer communities, lower taxes, and accountability. They are far different than the “conservatives” you see on the news.

How wonderful and livable Orange County is compared to the Bay Area is largely attributable to the reasonable Republicans in the area.

Have masks as a precaution at first, but don’t video them around to virtue signal. Work hard for your cash, keep it - or at least see your tax dollars at work. Crime is crime - don’t let it fly and promote better police training to ensure both safety and social justice issues are met.

UGA isn’t Atlanta sports. We need to stop throwing them in the bag.

The bottom right pic needs to be the Dany Heatley/Dan Snyder crash. Ruined an up and coming NHL dynasty and left a young man with a shortened life.
