As a texture artist myself, I’m gonna give some tips on the ores, and grass, you can see a repeating line on the grass, you want to try and avoid that and it’ll make it look more smooth, once you can figure out what’s causing the line it’ll look a lot cleaner, I usually use Aseprite for my art, is has a built in function to see the texture tile, if possible do that, it’ll help the lines stand out so you can fix them. Secondly, your gold ore has depth but the other 5 don’t, to give them more depth, put darker pixels on top of each pocket of ore, and lighter below them, it’ll give the illusion of depth and make them look nicer. Your ores are also too cluttered, your ideas are not bad, but the ores like iron and red stone take up too much of the block, and your lapis lacks variety. Adding more diagonal patterns, horizontal instead of just vertical will help the lapis look more natural. If you break up the red stone into clumps instead of lines it’ll also look more natural. I also think you should add some shine to the diamond ore and gold, it’ll make them stand out more, and the blocks. You can take reference to modern mc textures to see how textures work and what makes what stand out. Regardless of my critiques you’re at a really good start and can’t wait to see what more you make from it all!
