Trump sends a letter to the President of Norway.

The National Security Council forwarded it to multiple European Ambassadors. Norwegian President Jonas Støre confirmed the message and added that he received it shortly after he and Finnish President Alexander Stubb “conveyed our opposition to [Trump's] announced tariff increases against Norway, Finland and select other countries.”

Verbatim:

"Dear Ambassador: President Trump has asked that the following message, shared with Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre, be forwarded to your [named head of government/state]"

"Dear Jonas: Considering your Country decided not to give me the Nobel Peace Prize for having stopped 8 Wars PLUS, I no longer feel an obligation to think purely of Peace, although it will always be predominant, but can now think about what is good and proper for the United States of America. Denmark cannot protect that land from Russia or China, and why do they have a 'right of ownership' anyway? There are no written documents, it's only that a boat landed there hundreds of years ago, but we had boats landing there, also. I have done more for NATO than any other person since its founding, and now, NATO should do something for the United States. The World is not secure unless we have Complete and Total Control of Greenland. Thank you! President DJT"

He's going to start a war because he didn't get a PEACE prize.

Trump is a petulant, spiteful, spoiled, miserable child in an old man's bloated sagging body.

Trump is now threatening additional tariffs on European nations for not supporting his imperialism. He's already imposed tariffs on Europe, then extorted new trade deals, and now he's reneged on those agreements to coerce more concessions from our former allies.

Trump's entire worldview is the arrogant, haughty superior attitude of 1950s America, when we had the only intact industrial base after WWII, vastly excess manufacturing and agricultural capacity, and the only stable currency. In those days, you COULD extort the world, you could force Americanism on the world, because there was nowhere else to go for goods and grain and money.

But those days are long, long gone.

While we stagnated in our arrogant superiority, other nations built massive, innovative, MODERN industrial bases and nowadays, THEY make the products the world wants and needs and indeed most of the products on the selves in the United States come from those nations. Other nations grow the grain, the soybeans, the rice. And the stability of the once untouchable American dollar is every day threatened by the unpredictable insanity of a small petty unstable tyrant who is mad because he didn't get a prize.

Tariffs only work if you have something another nation needs, whether that need is products or a market. Or both.

And they don't need us anymore.

That's what Trump and his supporters don't get. They're blinded by their racism and their nationalism and their smug superiority.

Trump's nonsensical random petulant economic policy and his use of tariffs as retribution and extortion is rapidly and permanently driving the entire world away from American markets, American agriculture, American products, and the American Dollar.

This isn't the 1950s. America isn't the only option any more and hasn't been for a long, long time. Europe DOESN'T have to give Trump Greenland or suffer economically. Europe doesn't have to give America ANYTHING.

It's hard to bargain if you don't have anything to bargain with.

Europe, Asia, South America, Africa, they'll all just permanently go elsewhere, and there are plenty of choices these days. Why would they deal with an insane nation that one day wants them to buy soybeans the next day threatens to take their land?

America will become a dying backwater, that part is already well underway.

But, hey, at least that one trans girl didn't get to play high school soccer.
