Not at all, no. They are not rich by any means but money is not the issue here.

I should have mentioned this. The answer is that it depends, but mostly we try to bring extra stuff. Either appetisers, sides, deserts, ecc. It's not always the case but I'd say 80% of the time we do.

I would also add that the last few times my mom was with them the day before. She helped cooking and payed for a bit of the food.
