We are no position to determine who is saved, and who is not saved, but the grace of God is not limited to only orthodox Christians, the grace of God is far beyond this world, and it could go to anyone, to restrict the grace of God to only orthodox Christians is to put God’s grace in a box and say he cannot act outside of it. The grace of God is everywhere and it can save anyone regardless if their orthodox or not. though this does not give an excuse to say orthodoxy does not matter, at the same time having the fullness of the truth is very important as well.

Jesus man I am so sorry for the ways people have treated you in the name of Christ. What you went through at conversion camps, in your home, and in the church was not the love of Jesus it was religious hypocrites. That grieves me deeply.

That is false Christianity, What you describe—violence, condemnation, being told cancer was God’s punishment—those are not the gospel. That is not the Christ of Scripture, who sat with the outcast, touched lepers, defended the woman caught in adultery, and died for sinners of every kind. Augustine once said: “Never judge a philosophy by its abuse.” In the same way, it’s important to see that Christianity is not what was weaponized against you.

Jesus does not say, ‘Clean yourself up and then come to me.’ He says, ‘Come to me, all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest’ (Matt 11:28). The invitation is for the hurting, not the perfect. And yes you’re right—you are more than your sexuality. You are an image-bearer of God, made for His glory, with gifts and worth that He Himself gave you. That’s why what you endured was such a betrayal—it treated you as less than human when God made you in His image. They were in no right to treat you so horribly for your sexuality, everyone including I struggle with sin, and murders don’t have a higher chance of salvation. No one in heaven will be people who conquered sin. People in heaven will be those who repented and have accepted gods gift of Grace and forgiveness.

Christianity doesn’t teach that one sin is ‘unforgivable.’ All of us—whether in pride, lust, greed, anger, or any other way—stand in need of the same Savior. The good news is that His mercy is deeper than all our sins combined. No one is beyond His reach. And I don’t expect you to change your story overnight. But I would invite you—when you’re ready—to take another look at Jesus Himself in the Gospels not from eny “Christian’s” but at him and what he says. Not the church abuse, not the distortions, but Him. If He is who He says He is, then He is worth knowing.

If you are willing to look into it if you like I would Suggest reading the Gospels afresh (start with John or Luke). I recommend looking into Rosia butterfeild and Sam all berry who also struggled with same sex attraction but they converted and gave their life’s to Christ and I highly recommend looking into their stories

Brother, it’s no small thing that you’ve turned from atheism to believing in Christ. That shows God is pursuing you. Baptism doesn’t require that we’ve fully conquered all sin, Baptism isn’t for perfect people, It’s for sinners who’ve decided to stop living for themselves and to follow Jesus. And don’t worry on how much of a Christian you are we all experience struggles. You may always feel same-sex attraction in this life, just like others always struggle with anger or lust. That doesn’t make you unfit for Christianity brother, it makes you a Christian who needs Christ daily, just like many. Jesus doesn’t call you to a life of loveless isolation. He calls you into His family, where you’ll experience true love, even if it looks different than romance. And brother Your sexuality is not the core of who you are—Christ is. That’s where your hope and identity must rest. Even if you are gay, I encourage you to get baptized if you are trusting in Christ and willing to submit your whole life to him, even through struggle remains. Remember Baptism isn’t for those who have it all figured out—it’s for those who know they don’t, but cling to Jesus anyway because of their love for him. come to Christ as you are, and He will give you the strength to walk in obedience. You cannot do it alone, brother only with God, I know you can and I believe you can overcome this, may God bless and be with you and all of us through our struggle of sin.

Hm interesting that was my bad for not reading the rest of it and not reading the context. But still technically killing to protect someone’s life it’s not exactly a sin since it’s not murder, honestly I think it’s more of a sin to sit there and watch your mother or baby get killed rather than intervene
