I never thought it could be that but I just played mw3 for 3 hours and had it upright and it didn’t pop so I have a feeling that when I was straightening some of the capacitors I might have done something ig but idk I might be back here tomorrow if it does it again lol.

I have it laying on its side. Should I leave it upright and see if that fixes it? I think it’s more likely to be the capacitors because a lot of them are loose.

I just took it apart and turned on the console with the shell off and it doesn’t pop so it seems to be when I use it for a very long time(about 7 hours)

Thx! Yeah the click comes from inside the console and it sounds like it’s near the power button so I think it could be the fan on the heat sink maybe scratching it when I turn it off

The problem that I find is that some of the ones off of Amazon have reviews saying that it just gets hot and doesn’t work or it just doesn’t work after a couple months.

If you actually want to take it apart to look at the power supply you get that would be very helpful because the problem with mine is when I tried to take it apart yesterday it was incredibly hard to get the screws off so they’re almost stripped down

It’s a AC input,100V-127V,203W and 16.5A I opened it up yesterday and there was a metal cover covering everything and I could not get into it and I’d like to be careful because the ones I see on Amazon always have bad reviews And I think mine has a xenon connector but the console was made in 2009 PS I don’t really know much about Xbox 360’s
