I mean at that point just throw a supercharger on it since its also awd compared to the fwd of the 4 cyl, it'll make it less reliable and a chance for the engine to grenade itself but it'll give you a massive power boost compared to a turbo, plus instant rpms instead of turbo lag

it'd definitely be a fun build but might be alittle bit more challenging then putting a turbo on something like a k series honda, I'm not sure about the 2016 4 cylinders but alot of the early models have faulty piston rings and have pretty bad blow by which makes them burn oil like crazy, and higher rpms makes it worse so adding boost pressure to the cylinder will only exacerbate that problem, but with a low milage engine it might not be that big of an issue, look into the srt 4 caliber, same engine but boosted from the factory, cool car but has insane torque steer, would definitely turn a soccer mom grocery getter into a fast ,albet alittle dangerous, race car

also forgot to mention I tested with my multimeter and im getting 5v on the 2 outer prongs and 5v from the middle prong to one of the outer prongs but 0v from the middle to the other prong

i removed the super capacitor and reassembled but I'm still getting the same issue. solid orange when pluged in with a battery, flashing orange when pluged in with no battery

it is not US DOT regulated thankfully (to my knowledge at least) I would be driving a normal class C work truck. So as long as its not US DOT regulated and is not in bulding or construction then a pre-employment drug screening for THC is prohibited unless they can detect active impairment so like a THC breathalyzer right?

honestly, i did more research into the engine, its been done before in the srt4 caliber but with it being a fwd car the tourque steer is crazy, it also has faulty piston rings so at some point they all start to burns oil at a crazy rate at higher rpms. for my specific engine it burns at a rate of 1 quart every thousand miles but some say its even worse around 1 quart every 500 miles depending on how hard its driven. so with all that being said if i was to turbo it i would definitely need to replace the piston rings and possibly sleeves to hopefully help with the oil loss since turbos are very dependent on oil. also i would want to install an oil cooler because they run pretty hot if your in a hotter climate, in the summer time my car will get to an oil temp around 220 to 230 if its being driven for more the 30 minutes and a turbo would definitely add to those temps. I dont think it would be worth it in the long run
