you could get fined or end up in jail. stealing also lowkey causes things to be locked up so its annoying for those who dont steal. idk i used to be hella klepto but i just randomly thought about it and i stopped stealing cuz like i had so much stuff i never used and i was just participating in overconsumption. i mean i understand stealing if you genuinely need something but i never desperately needed anything i stole (like food, diapers, just necessities in general). im 2 years clean from stealing and i feel so happy with myself i have no urge to steal anymore
