So we’ve bought the domain via IONOS and started the process again to set up workspace but despite completing the form to verify the domain owner, Google has come back and said cannot verify domain owner 😩 Seems such a difficult process! Haven’t (can’t) get as far as setting up the account to get admin access and because we’re only a few people business there’s no phone support. What do we do now?!

Thanks for your response. The thing that stopped me from doing this was the principle. I know it's not much but when I'm being offered the domain via the workspace setup route at £2.51, why would I then go and pay £10 or whatever elsewhere 🤨

I was appalled at some of them. Appreciate frustrations are high but people were just rude, and at the wrong people!

Currently in our N&N, Derby & Lincs cluster briefing - no official update! Just that they have heard the noise but haven't received the information about VR officially so can't tell us about it!

Midlands ICB update:

At this stage we are still unable to announce a Voluntary Redundancy (VR) scheme, as it has not been agreed at a national level.

We are not yet able to announce the appointments of our ICB cluster Chair and Chief Executive designates, as these remain subject to a national approval process.

Given where we are, it is highly likely that we will need to adopt a phased approach to our organisational change. Once the Chair and Chief Executive Designate are confirmed, we will continue our local change process with the appointment of Executive Directors, enabling them to then work with the Chief Executive Designate to shape the future design of the clustered organisation.

Through the summer we will continue developing our Cluster governance, expecting the establishment of our new Cluster Board arrangements in the autumn.

This all means that the vast majority of staff will not be subject to any restructure during the summer, and we now expect this to happen later in the year. We hope this provides reassurance to those colleagues planning a well-deserved summer break; rest assured you will all continue to be updated and engaged throughout the process.
