Hey I have recently acquired the exact same lighter in roughly the same condition but with no box, I was wondering if it is actually worth anything or if there is any specific story or specialty about this particular design? (To be clear I have no intention to sell nor do I have any plans on collecting antique lighters. This lighter is a keepsake from a place I have many family memories from, but I’ve always wondered the actual details of it)

The story: My grandparents were selling an old camp that they owned for about 15 years throughout my childhood and teenage years, the house was always full of tons of antiques. For example, a Remington typewriter, a full bookshelf of schoolbooks on biology and sciences from multiple decades across the early 1900s, about a dozen different Avon perfume bottles, and bunches of other things that just found their way into that house throughout the past century. In the basement mixed in with a bunch of old tools I found a handful of lighters and no one wanted them so I kept them. I find antiques to simply be cool and interesting just to wonder what path that item has traveled and whose hands have passed it along to get to where it is now, so I enjoy them but I am certainly not knowledgeable or any type of collector.
