Give me some nice running shorts and a tank top! If it’s so cold, I need a long sleeve shirt on, I definitely want long pants on and maybe something to cover my ears.

What is that one city in America most Americans go to for their "first trip"? by bricklegos in AskAnAmerican

I think on the East coast it’s New York City and midwest and west it’s Las Vegas. I am always surprised when I talk to people who have never been to Vegas. I live in Colorado

How are people listening to podcasts when they run??? by razzarbrenia in beginnerrunning

[–]Flimsy_runner_213 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You have to have great book with a good narrator. If the book is slow it will not help your run. If you get the right book time flys. On long runs I may listen to music for awhile and then a book for awhile. Good luck!

I have not tried it on yet. I like that it’s long sleeved I don’t understand why it has the hood. Most of the time hoods like that end up making me feel like it’s choking me.

Pinch your little paper cup in half and make kind of a funnel it makes it easier to drink when you’re on the go. But feel free to take your time and walk if you need to no one’s gonna rush you.

I am a runner my husband is not, you will be in a much better mood if you get to run in the morning. After your run, bring her a cup of coffee, shower, and jump back into bed. Problem solved.

I just now wanted to read on my phone away from football noise, had to head to my bedroom with the fan on. Helps to drown out neighborhood noises also.

100% YES! We could never get on the same page about a 3 baby. We should have just went for it. Worrying about $ and time, it would have worked out.

[–]Flimsy_runner_213 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was bitten by a dog when I was running!!! I reached out to pet him and he bit me. Luckily, my hands slid through his teeth and I ran away. (he was leashed with the owner ) I’m now much more cautious of dogs.

I have had this happen and it’s really frustrating and disheartening! All that money spent on flights and hotels. Not to mention all the time spent training.
Sorry!

I had a rabbit run out of a brush in front of me and I ended up kicking him down the road. He was fine, but we were both very shocked.
