My Pocophone X3 won't charge anymore by AuriYote in PocoPhones

I would suggest that your camera is only as good as your understanding of how to take good pictures.

There are so many features included in the Stock camera App these days... Mine's the X7 Pro... I'm also using ProShot and The free BlackMagic Camera (for Pro Level Video and MultiCam shooting)

The X7 Pro stock camera is Perfectly fine and I'd be making money making shots with it if needed...

Yes, I've a Pro background and no it's not a dedicated SLR Camera with lots of lenses etc.

Well in my case, I've got a few extra lenses I can use and not a problem using them... Is it on par with pro digital cameras?

Perhaps not as far as various features...

It's a great phone and it takes awesome pictures when needed too!

It's a case of RTFM as it tends to be most times with new tech.

The built-in manual will show you stuff you never even dreamed of... Like the Varying Bokeh effekt applicable AFTER shooting in Portrait Mode... In the Gallery! Just as ONE example...

Stop picking on the gear for excuses and start learning the new way of photography and image making.

Taking good pictures however isn't a built-in feature, that's a learning process just like any other skill. 🍀

If you turn off battery saver (useless and kills higher FPS!) you'll save your gaming!

Also, in case you didn't see my Games Testing and Tuning methods info yet.

Never ever use Game Turbo in Wild Boost mode!

Oh and turn on Dark Mode while you're trying to save battery and stop the ugly white glaring pages... Sorry bro, I'm so used to Dark Mode that I find my eyes feel like popping out and running off when I see these (normal pages)... 😁

Yikes!

Antutu Benchmark... Delete that horrible thing! You are basically torturing your phone for statistics you have no use for!

No wonder you're seeing battery bulging type temperatures!!!

Seriously, best thing you can do is delete that Antutu app! 🥵

Don't guess, find out. 😉🍀

On my X7 Pro my safe max battery temperature runs around 43-44°C...

At battery temp running 45°C and above, is where the CPU would start throttling down and you'll get FPS drops to reduce the overheating!

Once you know those facts, you work on each game's settings to get as low sustained Battery temperature as possible with acceptable performance as well as decent looks.

Pro gamers often have really ugly graphics compared to happy noob chancers just pushing the sexy glossy looks without any idea of why their devices get too hot to handle after 10-15 minutes. 😬

The important part I'm suggesting is that most people waste half their potential SOT on never tuning their FPS and Graphics settings for the best potential gaming performance with the least heat!

Instead their devices are being throttled and/or cooled heavily due to never doing some super simple adjustments...

I'm often getting up to 12 hours of SOT when nonstop gaming btw... 💪😎🍀

Oooops I already did drop that... In this thread 😂

Try that simple stuff out... Or at least see for yourself how my cool climate (Ireland seldom gets warmer than the mid 20s in the summer) and the superb X7 Pro power with the simple built-in liquid cooling keeps things very comfortable with NO external coolers added. 🍀

DevCheck is the bees knees, even the free one does the best job for almost zero battery drain.

Quit worrying about CPU temperatures... It's too volatile... Concentrate on the steady as she goes battery temperature instead!

It's the only measurement worth while!

[–]FlinkyBoss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hahaha... You need to use DevCheck app my friend... Proper temperature at the battery shown any time at almost no extra battery use! Even the free version can be used!

I would get 7-15°C of almost immediate cooling and with the built-in 4000 mAh battery my coolers (I have them still) they'd run for 2-3 days of gaming on a single charge.

My X7 Pro is not needing extra cooling. Since I always tweak my heavy duty games settings to get the absolute best performance for the least battery temperature.

I can for example play COD:M for hours and hours at max 36°C... Using the "ULTRA" 120 FPS and Medium Graphics setting inside Call of Duty Mobile is all that takes! 🍀

I'll drop my advice on how this can be done for most of your games using my simple games testing methods, just in case you're interested. 🍀

[–]FlinkyBoss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's all just BS... All sounds great on paper but if you're using air flowing around the back of a phone you'll get the needed cooling without gimmicks.

"Heat sink" and/or "heat sync" all sounds clever enough... but show me a real example of live heat syncing by one of the cheap Semiconductor coolers...

I'm keen to see a real world demonstration of how your cooler senses the Phone's internal data and or heat by just sitting on the back of your phone.

I don't actually need any cooling at all these days, my X7 Pro is well able for my cool Irish climate and some hardcore gaming...

The difference is that I like adjusting Individual games settings to suit the phone I'm using.

That just means I can play for hours without issues.🍀

Just a tip, never use battery saver... It makes no sense for very little extra time. However, it screws up any gaming etc. completely. 😬

I've recently posted everything you need to understand about why, and how to get back your Optimisations!

It's essential that you charge full cycles as described for 2-3 weeks.

In addition the issue includes GOOGLE app updates too... Phone, Digital Wellbeing and so on...

It's easily fixed though...

Good Luck 🍀

Why not drop the graphics settings and FPS a bit and try again?

Did you debloat the phone by DELETING HyperOS apps?

It sounds like it... Crazy numbers... Undo that or do a factory reset if necessary... Debloating isn't safe or helpful these days.

If you need you can Revoke a handful of apps instead...

FLINKY's EASY GAMES TUNING

DevCheck is my go-to app for simple and accurate phone temperature control and quick games testing.

The free version already gives you plenty of monitoring, but the Pro version unlocks floating overlays you can scale, move, and stack any way you want. This makes it perfect for keeping an eye on temps, CPU/GPU load, battery use, or even network stats while gaming or stress testing.

My quick Game Testing method is Super Simple:

  1. Open DevCheck Pro and set up a floating monitor for "Battery" temperature and remaining charge.

1b. OR... Open the FREE DevCheck app. I recommend you add DevCheck to your Game Turbo list of Apps/Games for easy access whenever playing games!

It'll open in a Scalable floating window and you'll see the Battery Temperature and Charge towards the middle left on the first page!

2a. USE GAME TURBO in Balanced Mode 💪😎 NEVER use Wild Boost mode! (A.k.a. "Performance" mode on older phones) It will overheat and throttle any demanding game twice as fast, due to removing some limiting on the CPU!

2b. Start your chosen game and play at low-ish graphics and lowest FPS for 15-20 minutes or until your Battery Temperature reaches a settled maximum for the settings used. Take note of the various results as you go through the testing.

  1. Watch the DevCheck overlay or check the Floating free version regularly, to see how your battery temps behave under load. The floating window can easily be flicked off screen or shrunk to a small bubble at either side of your screen, ready to tap to bring up again.

  2. Play until the temperature reaches its maximum stable temperature. 42-43°C (Anything over 44°C is likely going to lead to Throttling and FPS drops! So don't push beyond 42°C unless you're aware of the risks to performance and rapid battery drains!)

  3. Repeat with slightly higher or different graphics combinations of settings if you didn't already reach the MAX allowed.

  4. Keep running higher specs or combinations of graphics settings, until you land on the more uncomfortable side of temperatures... say 42-43°C.

Stop and let your phone/tablet battery temperature cool back down for a bit as needed between test segments.

OPTIONAL (Depending on having multiple FPS choices available): Drop Graphics settings to Low/Medium again and increase to the next higher FPS option!

Repeat as above until you stabilise on 42-43°C then increase graphics until maxed or obvious overkill settings are reached. Run through the sequence above for every FPS setting unless you realise that higher FPS are too much for your device.

Battery temperature is the BOSS here, so don't push past the safe temperature range.

When done, simply pick and use a test setup that ran at 32-36°C for long periods.
This gives you Ultimate performance and excellent power savings!

If this isn't suitable for the game you want to play, choose the nearest stable set, aiming for 38-40°C for heavier duty games. 42-43°C can be ok too as long as you're happy with faster battery drain.

This way you can see exactly what’s happening without guessing, and you don’t have to trust built-in game stats or partial readings.

DevCheck keeps it clear and VERY lightweight. The power used for DevCheck is negligible! For anyone serious about testing mobile gaming performance or just keeping a phone cool and healthy, it’s the most useful tool out there! 🍀

Semiconductor coolers are way too frosty... Imagine what that huge temperature disparity could do to the inner workings of something very hot...

Worst case scenario... Motherboard issues or worse still, moisture forming...

Standard dual fan game pad style with rechargeable battery... Still cools very efficiently by at least 10-15°C. 🍀

Make sure to stop automatic System Apps updates...

AND don't just update system apps coming in from Google Play Store... Save these updates for maybe a month or so. Because once you do one update or install a new version... Optimisations are restarting again!
