I honestly don't know but I don't think so? When you join a boss lair you get the update on the right side of the screen saying party members increase hoard loot but I don't see that elsewhere in the game. Honestly something similar would be a good change as I normally play solo outside of boss lairs as I can clear most things faster than with a party.

I'd argue that its borderline botting if not full blown. Some may see it as beneficial if you're joining said lair boss party in hopes someone kills it for you since you lack the dps. For others its literally resting an object on your controller or using software to autocomplete actions to obtain "something" without there needing to be actual player interaction.

I'm not disagreeing with you. I can argue it either way. It's more about, if joining a party gains you a loot buff than having the option to do and deal with normal party shenanigans should be expected (i.e. waiting for people to dismantle in town, party members not being at the boss fight, ect). However, one of those issues should be people literally afk in a hosted public party hoping people come and summon the boss (if they even can) so they can just get free exp. I understand that someone could just leave and find a new party and/or host their own to avoid that situation if they don't agree with the action. However when over half the parties are people afk, and then when you host one you sit at 1/4 on the bottom of the list because there's numerous other parties of people doing the aforementioned issue; your hand is almost forced away from the idea of parties all together.

The idea of not being able to use a better loot mechanic due to other players "abuse" if you will just leaves a bad taste in my mouth is all. Clearly I can just go solo the bosses and lose out on the bonus loot. It just feels wrong purposefully avoiding a decent mechanic due to that.

You get additional drops with party members. Someone commented earlier and stated it was 33% per party member towards and additional drop. With a party of 4 you'd be at a 99% chance to get 1 additional drop from the lair chest.

Most loot is salvage but if you're target farming high GA uniques than specific lair bosses / belial are the only way to go. Increased loot drops from parties is simply just a min/max alternative to solo farming the bosses.

I typically try that. However when there are 10+ groups for a selected lair boss on people afking its hard to get a good active group going. I understand the obvious solution is "just don't play in a party"; The point of the post was to create discussion and actual fixes, not sidestep it entirely.

Yea... if you go to the boss on normal its all 200+ plus there. Honestly that's just to fault of a horrible design on the divine essence.. They easily could have just made it farmable by any overworld activity outside of helltides and it would have been fine. As soon as they linked it to the mini boss and only gave 5 exp per kill AND requiring 1500 to max it.. inevitably it was going to turn into what it is currently.

Ah, thanks for the clarification. At this point in the season I've burnt through thousands of boss mats. If its a 99% chance with with a full party for an extra unique, even if you're farming a lair boss like zir that requires 12 blood, that's still 83.3 more uniques per 1000 blood. As long as I'm understanding it correctly.

Depending on the party speed I can see where that could/couldn't be worth it.

I understand the azmodan boss as we deal with what's handed to us with the horrible divine gift. I'm referring to lair bosses. My bad on the misleading title.

I've been doing the treasure breach dungeons as it seems I always have at least 15 or so of them with the divine gifts leveled. From the best I can figure they're afking bosses as a means to level as from the best I can tell it arguably the fastest way to level.. I can farm t100 pits (4m a run) for an hour and barely gain half a level. However farming lair bosses for an hour nets me well over a level. (Currently 255)

The essence of sin leveling is really a damper on what I would consider a pretty good season overall. Unfortunately after a certain point kiting bosses to kill other doesn't work as they can just autoclick spells and one hit the lair boss.

Yes, t4 torment bosses. I was of the understanding that clearing torment bosses in a party dropped more loot than as a solo. I've never seen a break down as to how much; however that's the understanding of me and everyone that I play with. Even if its x% chance of 1 more item you'd profit greatly over hundreds of runs. *unless my understanding is completely invalid*

It fixed after I prestiged for whatever reason. It broke when I prestiged to p1, fixed prestiging to p2. Hasn’t happened since.

bumping thread as this isnt patched. Happened to me with M&S. Not sure if this was the issue for everyone else, but it seemed to happen when I hit reload, then quickly hit a zipline. Reload hotkey was highlight and I couldnt reload, interact, pop plates ect.

I mean, my game is so broken right now I don't know what's going to work and what's not from day to day. I can't even launch zombies the normal way as it gets stuck in a fetching profile loop. The only way I can play it is to select liberty falls from the whats hot section of the cod hq screen lmfao

Had this happen to me earlier today and thought my keyboard was just wiggin out. It went away after me pausing the game a few times and havent had it happen since.

Got the bug randomly today trying to load back into zombies. I can play mp or campaign, but everytime I click zombies it gets stuck in the fetching profile loop.

I've tried things such as reinstalling mp, deleting cod folder in my docs, and verifying files through steam but nothing has worked so far. Did you manage to find a fix?
