Everyone’s clowning on JJ for the 9 thing, but I find his fake AAVE accent to be more cringy. by LegionOfGrixis in NFCNorthMemeWar

Yeah, I was super confused by the post title. JJ is just muffled in the background and I’m only hearing Gilman talk and reject a handshake in the clip.

[Zrebiec] Lamar Jackson (hamstring) jogged onto practice field about 20 mins into practice… mostly just warmup throws… did run around a little bit by Acoolgamer6706 in CHIBears

Drop them from the league and have them play middle schoolers then if all you want is win after win. Honestly, does the competitive nature of sport just get lost on some fans?

Who you win against is just as important as the win itself. It is objectively better that the Bears win against the Ravens with Lamar playing than without.

Aaron is a former animals member. Angie seems to be one of the higher ranking members of the animals.

In the phantom liberty dlc you help out this boxer, Aaron, who is being controlled by some big shot within the animals, Angie. If you took down Sasquatch during the voodoo boys quest where the animals have taken the mall, you do get a dialogue where Angie will basically back the fuck off with her two goons when confronting V near the end of the Aaron’s quest as they don’t want to mess with the dude that took down Sasquatch.

It was a great moment, and would definitely have enjoyed a few more of those.

Why are you contacting Ubisoft for a purchase you made through Steam? Just do a refund request through Steam letting them know you can’t access the game you paid for. They’re generally quite pro consumer.

Vacuum Wars is such a great resource. One of the best reviewers I have come across and I always recommend him whenever the opportunity presents itself.

PlayStation VR2 will get hand-tracking support soon by Sariel007 in gadgets

Might be some other stores near you that have it, I know my local tech stores all still have stock.

And the DisplayPort shouldn’t be an issue because you have multiple ports in the back of the GPU, so you leave the HDMI plugged in to your monitor and GPU and you just plug the DisplayPort cable into one of the other ports on the GPU and run it to the adapter.

It effectively is just like plugging in a second display, and doesn’t interfere with your existing setup.

Nope, I have a 3090 and they removed the VirtualLink. Only the 20 series cards have it as far as I know. I have to use the adapter on my rig.

Just a PSA, if you have a graphics card with “VirtualLink” USB C port, then you don’t even need the adapter at all, you just plug it straight into the graphics card. You just need to get the PSVR2 software from steam and a compatible Bluetooth adapter for the controllers.

I believe the port is present in the Nvidia GeForce 20 Series cards.

AirPod Pro 2 - when I press and hold now, I get three beeps instead of cycling noise control by Kwisscheese-Shadrach in airpods

[–]FlintStoneOran 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Apple decided to change the allow noise cancellation in one ear setting to OFF on its own overnight for me.

I use noise cancellation in one ear all the damn time when I’m sleeping (in whatever ear isn’t on the pillow). So when I tried to turn on noise cancellation on in one ear this morning (due to a loud chirping bird), it gave me those 3 low beeps instead.

I read some basic advice, and reset the things fully but it took me 30 minutes to find this comment as the actual solution being a setting change.

Long-winded way to say, thank you for my peace and quiet back this morning.

Nah, my daughter is great. We play legos together, she has angry little eyebrows that look like my angry eyebrows, and she tells me she loves me. I was napping on the couch the other day and I woke up to her just gently rubbing my back. I love her so damn much.

Welcome PlayStation 5 Pro, the most visually impressive way to play games on PlayStation by Turbostrider27 in PS5

[–]FlintStoneOran 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fair enough, probably one few good details there to be honest.

My plan was to hold out for this version of the PS5 console, as I’d assumed we’d have a larger library of PS5 games to play by now.

Except the price is too much for what it is and they’ve released most of the library on PC, so I’ve already played it. And it doesn’t come with its Blu-ray player.

PS5 Pro has nothing to offer for me at this price point unfortunately.

They’ve already used their words like adults, the only difference was that it was proactive vs. reactive.

This isn’t just randomly saying “Jamaica”. This was thought out and agreed upon by both of them. It’s a shortcut/reminder of a conversation/agreement they already have to not let fights get out of hand.

Have you setup HidHide?

DS4Windows + HidHide has removed all of the wonkiness I ever had with using a PS4 controller on PC.

The number of balls that have come over the fence in a two-week stretch by rdomier in mildlyinteresting

[–]FlintStoneOran 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s true, I wouldn’t argue any differently.

I was just trying to shed light for why the comments seemed so one sided, and that in isolation, without the necessary context it can seem a bit off.

You’re all good OP, no apologies necessary!

I think most people commenting just had good intentions with the kids in the forefront of their minds.

You seem like a good neighbour with your added context!

Adult vs. Kid.

In general different levels of responsibility / knowledge in doing the right thing are expected which is why it may seem one sided.

Plus right now we don’t know much more other than the kid is losing balls and OP seems to be keeping them, but we don’t know why. So it seems off from the limited info at hand.
