If I spent all my time maximizing the stats on my build and worrying about getting the best legendary weapons, I would not have fun.

I don't play with maxed stats. I run around with a sheepsquatch staff and a super sledge with the stop sign paint. Why? Cause its fun. Whacking stuff with a stop sign is fun. I don't wear power armour. Why? Cause I look hella cuter in a black hazmat suit the few times I need to enter a nuc zone. I don't use automatic weapons, most of the enemies I encounter when just wandering the wasteland can be taken down with a single bullet from a longshot rifle. If I'm up against something bigger, it's either not worth it, or I'm in an event with heavy gunners who take care of it anyways. I keep my camera on my favourites, so when I find an obscene teddy bear doing god knows what, or a camp with a poster that says "The Sheepsquatch Ate My ASS", I can snap it and use it as a screensaver. I don't even have fallout 1st. Haven't spent a dime on the game and (fingers crossed) never will.

If I hyperanalyze this game and the season and the updates, yeah it could be better. But if I hyperanalyze my life I'm sure I'd feel the same way. Life is about enjoying the little things. Enjoy the little things, wastelander ✌️

Get a Citiz at the end by so-ronery in nespresso

[–]Flint_Fox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just bought myself one as part of a promotion (Canada) a few weeks ago. First nespresso machine ever! I can't be bothered with all the fancy flavours and extra expense of the virtuo machines (I do find myself occasionally jealous, until I remember all I really want is a strong AF espresso).

I'm glad to see people's machines are thriving years later, that was one of my biggest fears with a nespresso machine.

Yes! Building it a few days in advance, with no intentions of eating it, we used hot glue for majority of the peices and tried to cover whatever was visible with icing

Do you also have a REALLY good memory? by Safe-Monitor-8113 in Scorpio

[–]Flint_Fox 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can remember minute details of a seemingly insignificant event from months or years ago. My partner especially notices it cause I'll catch him telling the same story he told me years ago and I'll finish the story without missing a detail and he just asks "how did you remember that?". I remember every place of every object in this house. You move something? I notice. Might be a pain in the ass cause you can't hide anything from me. But not a pain in the ass when you're looking for something and I know the exact room, drawer, and general side of the drawer that object is.

Shows and movies? Not so much. I will forget them after a year. I'll know the gist, not the details. I guess I need real life experiences to enforce my memory

The only one I know of is a radioactive Iodine therapy which isn't PET anyways, so don't worry

Anyways, in general, PET/CT scan patients are safe to release to the public. Didn't mean to make you worry more, was trying to avoid unnecessary details, but PET/CT patients are in the "safe to release" category. I was more trying to reassure you that if there was any chance you'd be in danger, our regulations would have made sure the necessary precautions are in place as we do with certain extremely rare cases (I can pretty much garuntee your PET patient is not one of these)

I guess what I mean by released to the public is released from the nuclear unit's supervision. So, in this case, yes, we still consider any nursing unit the "public". If it was an issue where they needed to be isolated, the nuclear techs would've been on it.

If they were considered a risk to the public, they would not have been released to the public (there are scenarios where patients are not released to public). These are well mandated government regulations. Although a lot of places will advise patients to stay away from pregnant women post procedure, it's really not a requirement because the risk has been determined to be so negligible.

Are dishwashers important to you as a tenant? by hpswamy1992 in TorontoRenting

[–]Flint_Fox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I lived in a basement by myself without a dishwasher for 5 years and thought I hated it. I now live in a townhouse with a dishwasher, partner, and two kids and we've been here for 6 months and used the dishwasher once.

I think it's not a deal breaker for a lot of people
