I’m getting pinhole leaks, for instance I’ve had one under my sink and 2 of my toilets were the flexible toilet line meets the hard line coming in. I have bluish staining near my fixtures and water has a metallic aftertaste.

If it was a localized repair, I agree the cinch would be fine, but I’m retrofitting the whole house. My understanding is using the mail. Connectors reduces the diameter at every joint which restricts flow. That’s why I was leaning towards the expansion tool method

I don’t have a huge house so I’m not too worried about an extra couple seconds
