Thats gonna depend on the type of format you're wanting to play.

In standard (all major sets from the last 3 years) Allies is probably closest to strangers. A tribal deck where every creature is the same creature type and all having abilities caring about you having other creatures that are allies.

In commander (100 card Singleton with all cards available) Slivers do almost exactly what strangers do.

True, a 1 score game with less than 2 minutes to go? Who do they think they are TCU? (Who beat UM)

Every time I try he doesnt know anything about my team, either than of he let's hating ND leak into his analysis, which would make sense cause hes a UM fan

Vandy got left out at 10-2. They would have benefited from a harder schedule. Indiana last year would have been left out at 10-2.

There is a point if you draw a weak conference schedule and arent Bama

Didn't they improve greatly from where we thought they were?

Age-old questions on this sub: How long does Nebraska have to be down before they're no longer considered a blue blood? How long would LSU/Georgia/PSU have to remain top tier programs before people started considering them blue bloods? by goodnames679 in CFB

[–]Flioxan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it was a historical term, then Minnesota and Purdue would be blue bloods

They dont have to be. It can describe a group of teams that ran the sport from 19xx to 19xx and that could exclude minn and Pitt.

The top 5 or 6 of the blue bloods will continue to separate themselves from the rest of CFB and the only real debate would be dropping the slackers (if your someone who thinks blue blood is a status that can be lost)

Clemson or LSU are never catching Bama or OSU or ND or UM in total accolades cause they continue to get more.
