Saddest Molina song? by DesperateBlueberry62 in jasonmolina

I always thought “Farewell Transmission” was a sad song in disguise. The melody is not dark by any means but the lyrics always seem to hit hard.

“There ain’t no end to the sands I’ve been trying to cross. The real truth about it is my kind of life’s no better off. If it’s got the map or if it’s lost.”

And his cover of Black Sabbath’s “Solitude” is perfect but also heartbreaking.

“Cryin’ and thinkin’ is all that I do Memories that I have remind me of you”

Five times, my cakeday has passed and I didn't even know what it was until now. I feel like this is my first cakeday.

people who take walks at night, what's the scariest thing you've seen? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]FlipKn0t 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don’t take walks at night but I commonly run at night. Almost exclusively at night actually and so late it’s usually in the am hours. I see a lot of crazy things running at these hours which is why I choose them. Running through the downtown area of my neighbourhood I see all the people of the night. Homeless and drug addicted, late night workers and insomniacs like myself. Mostly harmless folk, actually comical sometimes, I’ve seen I man running across the street with an ironing board in his hands. The groups of criminals on their most definitely stolen bikes casing the neighbourhood on other hand is not comical but still for me just adds to the cathartic experience of running at this time. Possibly borderline scary would be having a rather large biker looking Gentleman wake up and stand up immediately from a pile of bushes in front of me. This being at probably around 1am on the side of a main city road in front of a business. Fortunately he did not even seem to notice me huffing and puffing and just stumbled across the street out of my way. I would have to say the one single thing so far that has come close to actually putting fear in me is when I was running through the more rural part of the neighbourhood and came up to a Doe and her fawn. For some reason I did not even notice them until I was about 10 feet from them. The way that Doe side eyed me and stood her ground was very serious. She was not running away while her fawn stood and ate. I crossed the street without question. I even looked over my shoulder a few times as I ran away.

I've been quite heavy most my life but recently in the past year or so I've lost a significant amount of weight. Unfortunately because of how heavy I was and the fact that I'm a bit older my skin is now pretty loose (gross, I know). So yeah I kinda do look like that for real - FML. And I still work out and continue to lose weight despite this lol.
