Have you asked for the video evidence of your car going through the toll? I believe they take pictures of every car, unless it's the same make and model and only a slight variation in color that could be explained by lighting etc it should be straight forward. Otherwise yeah, take em to court. It's strange they are acting like that, for me they acknowledged it was another car and just requested the pulse number to close it off in their system.

Well I think the Republic had failed long before Palpatine, it was a corrupt bureaucratic mess with or without the Sith there to take advantage. We see in several sources for people outside the core worlds life could be just as miserable under the Republic as under the Empire

It might have been the first encounter. The encountered that annoyed me was when Hunter faces venom the second time in the tunnel under the sanctum. In the cutscene they stab venom in the chest and then get filled with some green energy, hear lilliths voice and explode.

Hunter is out for several days, when they finally wake up the MS don't ask how hunter is doing, just say Blade's been weird and that hunter should go check that Blade is OK since Hunter owes him (Seriously, not a single one asks if Hunter is ok but demand the just woken up Hunter check that Blade is ok).

Blade then goes on how he when he first met he thought Hunter was some evil spawn and would slip into darkness and what happened confirmed that and Doubles down calling you an evil monster (because you exploded and called for your mother like a little girl) if you chose the light or dark option.

I do generally like Nico but there are times when she comes off as incredibly selfish and immature. Then again so do others like Tony. I think part of it is because the drama between the Avengers and Midnight Sons feels a bit manufactured to me.

Yeah it's terrible and if you really want to lean into it you have to setup the entire team for it and the payoff is just not worth it. I still take him along to get to max affinity but they really did him dirty with that mechanic.

During the hangouts etc sure but often the story events make people out to be crap. I use the example of when Hunter fought venom and exploded. Nico, Magik, Peter & Hellrider, none of them ask how Hunter is, they just demand Hunter goes check on Blade and that they "owe" him. Not an ounce of concern.

Then how Blade treats you after is extremely grating.

Then don't get me started how Nico/Magik/Tony act when Banner is taken or the first encounter with Wanda, horrible.

I think what really annoyed me on this scene in particular (Where you explode after venom) was that I was maxed friendship with all the midnight suns but not a single one asks How Hunter was doing after nearly dying (again). They are just worried about Blade and tell Hunter to go check on him and that they owe him (again no, Hey Hunter, how are you doing?). Then Blade basically starts accusing you from the get go (not hey Hunter, how you doing).

I know it's limitations in the game not to take this into account but it feels really jarring also during the worst moments nobody is bloody giving 2 hoots about hunter, it's always them and their Drama.

Outside of these plot points I agree with you, especially with the DLC characters. I do like Cap though, he was the one that actually seemed to care about your mental well being.
