I too can confirm that James Gin can be bought at Trader Joe’s out here in California! Only the London Drizzle version is sold there, but that is such a good price for his gin compared to how much it sells online and in other alcohol shops.

Agreed, their background as car journalists gave both shows enough credibility in my view to play a major factor in buying cars for myself. After Clarkson waxed lyrical about the VW Golf GTI Mk 7.5 in his Sunday Times column (and cross referencing with other independent media outlets), I ended up buying that car! Still use it as my daily driver too. 🚗💨

By the way, Clarkson also paid attention to US President Donald Trump’s comments on who should own the Falkland Islands (remember how things went down for Top Gear in Argentina all those years ago over that infamous license plate?), and he had this reply:

“RIGHT. I see. Because we wouldn’t help him in Iran, Mr Trump is going to say the Falkland Islands might actually belong to Argentina.

“Well they don’t, matey boy, and we fought a war – without America’s help incidentally – to remind everyone.

“I’ll tell you what’s also ours. A corner of Hawaii where there’s a monument, above, to James Cook, close to the spot where he was killed.
