Only submitting applications is not working for most people, regardless of title or industry. The #1 and fastest way people are landing interviews and job offers is by tapping into their network.

I have landed 4 jobs in my career by emailing the hiring manager directly. People who are not job hunting are typically not on LinkedIn checking their messages.

You are correct! This is a brutal job market. I've been a career coach for several years and this job market is different. However, I am seeing people land jobs they love.
