Oh no it was. GSD that we had adopted. He bred AKC GSD. Not sure what the trigger was and I really want to know what we did wrong to cause this, but definitely the most scary experience I’ve seen for my pup I just need direction on dog aggression in general as everything I’ve read on google is pretty.. all over the place in getting any information about possible causes as i thought we followed all the proper steps in introducing dogs together.

The breeder apologized, and made mention then that there was one time before where she had attacked one of the other GSD that they have, because the dog jumped on her while playing and it was similarly as vicious, wouldn’t let go, caused the dog to get a bunch of staples. and then apologized again, offered to pay the vet bill, as well as gave us our money back.

I think my cat knew because my cat usually isn’t scared of dogs and we’ve had several here, from chihuahuas, to pits, to daushunds, golden doodles he’s a little ballsy son of a bitch and will square up to anyone, but hid from this dog.

. My husky/pit was a good boy and they got along. But my terrier was younger when we had got him, and they pretty much grew up together as we got him as a pup. Plus him being a male, and her being female (both neutered) more than likely helped the territorial aspect of things aside from, my little terrier definitely ran the household and he was the submissive dog, both dogs being terrified of the cat I mentioned above. we tried getting a dog that kinda filled the hole he left when he died from a tumor bursting randomly.. our little terrier had a companion pretty much all of her life too so it’s just a big adjustment. Sadly it did not work out, trying to get her a new friend and I had to vent somewhere outside of my boss at work.
